Ok, so tryin out 21876 and it is the sh*t!! Big ups to the Chef as always...Thanks man, you've outdone yourself again. Quick question tho, anyone else notice that the stylus sensor has been re-activated in this rom?

I'm running EnergyROM_28004_HERMAN_25.Nov.2009_StandardM2.5_NEWKERNEL. First time I switched to the newer WinMo build and it's great except now I have no way to quickly close programs. Where's the X button!? I know about the task manager by holding down the send key, but their has to be an easier way I'm missing.

That said, this build seems to be stable and fast!

Also, how does one roll regedits into a cab? I got Sashimi installing my cabs, but the regedits for replacing the HTC messaging is getting tedious every flash.

Anyone know why the icon in the upper right corner to close all running programs is gone from this latest version? I would really like an easier way of "X"ing running programs like before.

What I did was install the showcase task manager cab, from the paperclip located on the attachments cab, then set the settings up where it would be in the upper right hand corner, albeit hidden, I know that it's in the same spot as the traditional task manager. However, it some times responds slowly but the majority of the time it works. I additionally have the showcase icons positioned near the top of my start menu as well as one of the favourites in the roll up clock feature for when i use sense. I actually didn't even uninstall quick menu so I have task managers everywhere. The Reg Edit issue now that's something you'll have to just take the time and do. You gotta pay play you know.

there is a quick menu HIT SPOT on the upper left on the home screen... tap around a bit and you will see it open up... you can close running programs from there... also open them.

i wish the hit spot was a bit bigger tho... it sometimes is hard to get it...

Hold down the Windows logo and Task Manager will come up allowing you to close programs

I have a theory about this and have posted elsewhere about it. I have the same problem with my weather not updating when I'm at my house because I have a Spring Airave femtocell. Since the location service is based on info from the cell towers and not GPS, and the airave does not broadcast that info, you will not get location based updates as long as you are within the airave coverage area.

Don't have an Airave? You may still be in the coverage area if one of your neighbors have one. Dial *99 send and if you hear a message that you are within airave coverage, then that is your problem.

Once I leave the coverage area (a few hundred feet away from my house) I can get my weather to update. It continues to update hourly as long as I'm away but once I get back home, the updates stop.

Now, I manually added my city and that one will update though.

Edit: Just saw that you are not on sprint. However, if it used to be a sprint phone, it may still be trying to connect to the airave.
BTW, where the heck is "Tiny Piney" TN? I'm in Knoxville. Is that near Ducktown?
