it would be nice if they just did away with the bar across the top that just reads ''sprint'' then the shortcuts on the home tab would surely fit on the TP1 screen but is this even possible? otherwise the only benefit to this rom would be the weather animation on the home tab really i guess i will have to get a tp2 -$$$

Just realize that NRG puts in ALOT of work for these ROMS (and he doesn't even have TP anymore!) and he KNOW what he is doing.

True, some of his latest releases are cutting edge but they are definitely solid releases.

I should have clarified, it is only 23504 builds that will not go past splash(boot) screen for me the 21864 builds work. What could be causing this? I have now also tried from my laptop..

Sprint has sent out letters in the past for people who roamed too much. You can search on Google for it. Usually they warn you if you roam too much (more than half your minutes roaming with 800min cap) a few months in a row (around 3) and if you continue after the warning, they ask you to leave, ETF-free. The data caps are supposed to be for the tethering plans, 5GB, 300MB roam, and the TOS used to say that, but they don't specify things so clearly anymore.

AFAIK roaming shouldn't be controlled by the radio. It should be controlled by the PRL. Probably the new radio is finding the Verizon signal stronger.

If you want to know for sure whether you are roaming type ##DEBUG# in the dialer and look for the SID. If it is 4000 or greater it is usually Sprint but there are exceptions. Many of the Verizon SIDs are less than 3999, but again there are exceptions. You can look up the SIDs here:

Roaming is something you don't want to do unless you have to on Sprint. It costs them real money and they do care.

NRG: I'm not sure, but I know we have to use a different version every time.

So I'm about to do my 3-day (seems like it lately) ballet with my phone, but in the mean time, does anyone have a screen shot of 6.5.1 Energy Rom handy? I'm debating going over to the 23XXX build instead of the 21XXX I've been using lately.

I just want to see how crammed things are with a bigger start menu first...
