I will work on fine tuning this thing and making it better for daily use. Dont worry, Manila 2.1 wont be forgotten. A new "Qilin" dialer has been posted on XDA for our VGA devices, so i will be sure to cook that in. They say it supports the new manila better.

Dude! The UI customizations with 2.5 are hardcore.

I just flashed and this Rom truly rocks, however I am lagging bad. Any fix or should I just wipe the device again?

Which version? Did you hard reset after the flash? Even if you did once, try one more. This, like all Energy ROM's is a speed demon.

Edit: Sorry, just re-read your last sentence-"again", yeah give 'er another swipe.

I have 21864. It wasnt too laggy when i first flashed then I ran sprite to restore only my contacts and messages then WHAM, monster lag

a couple of things i noticed...
-cannot access last couple of icons in programs list bcuz theyre behind the back bar
-if youre texting back n forth for abit, you cant view the newest ones bcuz theyre behind the send/input bar.
-youtube works for some but i get no sound if i access youtube through link in program list. when using opera for youtube, flash player needed msg appears.

gonna keep testing and look for some workarounds

I played around with 11-4 23081 rom for a bit and it's amazing how you could take something that wasn't even supposed to be talked about because it was so far off and then made it almost fully functional in such a small amount of time. I've never been one to use manilla but with this 2.5 port coming over I may have to start using it from time to time. The only request/suggestion that I have is to update the action screen icons so they are consistent with the current start menu ones.

Flash wont run in opera unless you dl a opera flash patch, and even then it is really limited. If you want flash, use Skyfire. The overall image quality isnt as sharp as opera, but it will run flash.

yes it is there in portrait, in landscape with keyboard out, it's gone, just a large white text entry box
