It is a problem with the NEW Showcase app.
The freezes effect the rom on any carrier.

What does showcase do anyway? Let me find out.

Oh I see, so this is the replacement multitasking feature as opposed to the old upper right hand corner menu.

Is there a shortcut to this aside from digging through the start button to get to it?

Anybody using cleanRAM experiencing freezing problems with the 23081 build? I use the level 3 cleaning and it freezes everytime. I think it has something to do with Showcase. I have version 1.0.1b installed.

hey root did you ever get a chance to try out Resco Contact Manager, and see if the facebook integration was working for you?

I have no freezing with cleanram.
Using level 3 and I HAVE Showcase 1.0.1b as well.

Have not tried Resco Contacts yet.
Been polishing up my themes.

Gonna flash to test rom now.

After installing the fix, when I see an X on the bottom right it ****** the program. OOPS! THOUGHT IT CLOSED, IT DOES MINIMIZE. Sorry, when I said tap and hold I meant the top right corner. Tap to close, tap/hold/slide to left to get to showcase. Bottom right X or hard back key to minimize when there is no X (Total Commander), dont know any other options. What programs are you having issues with?

nope didnt change the version of showcase that came with the rom, it just freezes my whole phone and i have to reset..

great news!! the new test rom has the blue icons on the taskbar back!

AH, there is a fix that installs an older version of Showcase that doesnt freeze the phone, though most freezes were happening with messaging. Lemme know if you cant find it, I posted it, bumped it, and linked it in a post earlier today. Hopefully the next build wont require the fix.
