But I wish I knew what JD was up to because there are a few issues that I have recently uncovered with the rom I cooked with his most recent kitchen and I am going to reflash later this afternoon. If I knew that JD was working on another one, I would probably hold off. But not knowing... I fear that I may be looking elsewhere today...

i don't even bother with other roms/kitchens. i have tried them in the past and always come back to JD. IMO his work is 2nd to none. everyone wants something different but what JD offers is usually what i am after. i will continue to rock the most recent rom he uploaded until he releases something else. if he does release another one...

if u just want something new by JD the closest thing would be to use his kitchen soo at least u will have something built from today, & if u just want to try the newer/est builds then they are plenty of the in the upgrade section..jd will be here when he is here & he will release something when he does, u should not rush greatness

well to answer all I am here I just haven't been releasing anything because I am working on fixing what I have to make it into a actual better than stock ROM .... I have all of the builds that have been released and I have not seen anything in them worth rushing to release besides a higher number .... I have been following the board and reading some of the issues others are having in other ROMs and I am taking the time needed to make sure that my ROM will last with minimal issues (as there is never a ROM that doesn't have at least one) more then the first day I release it ... so in reading my thread I see that some of you may be ready to jump .... I do not plan on updating anything more then once a month if there are no serious issues ... believe me new builds will drop and when I do my stuff will have the newest

SILENCE, SSk, Longhorn, NFSFAN, CFay, DB, Psyki, Rstg, Juicy, Merdin, Starrom, Phantom, RostoGuy, Bored, JMZ, Mighty, kk, etc, etc,etc.
All were actually very good in their own certain aspects.
Some just had extra installs to do, but then just not working as good as it should after install.
Some had few flaws that just wear you down after putting up with it for a while.
Some were just bare and boring causing the desire to flash, only to end up with a new issue.

Main nuisance for me was setting up Sprint cabs that work.
With this rom I have all that I want actually work well together already and pre-installed!

The main culprits for me many times were internet (speed), MMS(working), Sprint TV(errors), Sprint navigation(GPS locating delays) and Youtube performance.

They all working nicely without me having to install in this rom
Another common problem is ringer issues with newer roms.
No problems here.
This rom is a true keeper for Sprint users.
It does not have the newer Manilla with Calendar, stock, etc, but it is worth not having the dam clunky texting box and extra menus to navigate and waste time with.

hey thanks for checking in. you definitely have a cult following on here.

the only issues i am having with the rom (i am using the rom you cooked and uploaded, not one from the kitchen) is the screen freezes from time to time when i am playing uno, and the showaco weather panel sometimes will quit updating for days at a time. the last one is not your issue, but it is an issue i am having none the less.

I too was looking for a "higher number" ROM and flashed like crazy over the last week or so...glad to say i'm back on a custom ROM from the latest JD Kitchen as of this morning, these ROM's just WORK!
