Two annoying things probably not related to JD kitchen but WM6.5, if anybody can help I would be greatful.

1. When I lock the device, on the lock page my screen dims (does not shut off) so much so I cant see the lock things to slide it. Its really annoying no matter what the settings when its locked it stays dimmed.

2. How in #$#& do I disable the auto correct feature on the slide out keyboard. When I type it automatically fills in different works. Its makes the keyboard completely unusable and its driving me completely insane

to fix #2 go to type something and hit FN+spacebar and select ABC. JD told me that once. i cannot take credit to figuring that one out.

Request: I would like to request that in the next kitchen, you include a way to exclude titanium from the build. I see a lot of MShell builds that I would like to do myself but I want the titanium code gone completely (vs. disabling from home). Is this something you could do? Also, what exactly will 222 buy us?

I get the same thing - I figured at first it was due to the screen activating and the light sensor maybe not picking up the light level appropriately - but it stays quite dim even after a few toggles with the power button.

Same for me as well. It even stays dimmed when you get an incoming phone call and the device lock is on.

why dont you just delete the locks in the kitchen unless your using JD rom then sorry cant help

yeah I saw where rstoyguy posted the fix a while back, however, I really like the WM 6.5 lock screen and I think it's one of the benefits of using 6.5. I don't want to delete it as I find it very useful.

In case anybody else was wondering, no the phone canvas (non s2a) also does not work with the WM 6.5 lock screen. Maybe this was implied, but I was just curious myself.

Looks like our best option is to delete the 3 lock folders that rstoyguy posted a while back (thank you btw), and just not use the WM 6.5 lock screen. You'll still be able to lock the device, it'll just be transparant with an unlock key as the left softkey, but S2A will still function properly.

Hope that helps any other curious minds.

or you can just go to the lockscreen settings and just choose use classic ?

This may be dumb question, but when I am trying to select the phone canvas dialer. The one that says just phone canvas, it's the one with s2a, but the dialer won't show up on my device after I flash my rom. Like when I bring up my phone, I get a white screen, but I have no buttons.

What am I doing wrong? Is S2A just a skin and I'm supposed to be selecting the windows dialer as well? (which I am leaving the winmo dialer unchecked, and just checking phone canvas).
