Re: Best Radio for Sprint

I cant seem to install that 1.10 version of the Rom using active sync. The status bar just shows 0% for a while and then the program stops and says Update error and asks me to remove the batter from the back...Is there something I'm doing wrong here?
Do I need to follow any steps before I do the ROM update? I'm running a stock sprint ROM

Re: Best Radio for Sprint

So far, the Telus radio seems to get more bars for me- I live in an area that would give me 1-2 bars inside the houseon the stock radio- now at least 3 bars.

I've got the Mugen 3000 battery so I'll report back on how long it'll take to drain that monster.

Re: Best Radio for Sprint

I've been using 1.11.00F for several days now and the battery life for me is dramatically improved. Signal strength at my house is better than the stock radio, by about 1 bar. I use a fair amount of data and and between 2 and 3 hours of voice per day. The battery has yet to die during the day. I usually have 30% left at night. The old radio wouldn't last the day. I am running the stock ROM and haven't tweaked anything else on this phone (my 3rd TP) yet.

Re: Best Radio for Sprint

Your results will likely depend on your local service coverage. In my office I have marginal Sprint coverage. With the stock Sprint radio (1.03) I had 1 to 2 bars at most places in my office, with a couple of dead spots. I flashed to the Sprint 1.11 radio yesterday and had fewer bars everywhere, including a major dead spot right at my desk . I then flashed to the Telus radio and now have an average of 1 bar better coverage everywhere. YMMV.
