Honestly. I hope they make all of the settings pages and menus out of titanium.

While i like the new fancyness. I dont like how hard it is to find what you want on the menu's now. sometimes you touch and it will skip past what you want.

The drop down menu's are the same way. But the pull up menu's (softkeys) are perfect now. heh.
Yup... I agree... but it's early in the wm 6.5.1 process. I'm hoping they improve this. In the process of converting the settings dialogs to finger-friendly they made them annoyingly tedious to use.

Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090830H (23037.5.3.0) [UC]

I have a love/hate relationship with this rom. I love how easy the phone is to use with one hand now (due to start and ok being on the bottom) and can't begin to describe how awesome it is to have both the clock AND the battery visible at all times. I think this is the largest UI change since...well since it was still called Pocket PC 200X. I didn't like honeycomb at first, but it has grown on me and this build seems to be a big step forward in the department. You can now drag and drop icons to any location in honeycomb instead of just sending to top. However, the new design is not without issues. The new bottom bar hides the bottom of some screens (like Resco Explorer) and of course the soft keyboard works intermittently at best. The new finger friendly menus are nice, but occasionally make me feel like I'm using a legally blind person's phone even with text size set at the lowest setting. I also wish there was a way for a more coherent theme, as it stands right now some menus highlight in black and others in green.

I have got to say that I am grateful that we have someone like Juicy to make these new enhancements available to us in what seems to be the most useful way possible. I look forward to the next build and the bugfixes that hopefully come along with it.

Also, if anyone was wondering, custom taskbars do appear to work without issues with this build. I wasn't sure due to the changes in the taskbar, but I installed GF Bear-Bonz WM 6.5 taskbar and it looks correct and everything appears to be working normally.

Well, here's a zip with two reg files in then to ajust to your liking. I exported them so feel free to compare to what you have.
It could also be the MoonBlack theme that ahuskins posted up a couple days ago but my menus don't look exactly like your's I dont think.

Can someone please post the tf3d icon set from this new beta 090830H (23037.5.3.0) ? I would like to use this on the older, more stable Build 090723 (21828.5.0.60)

I just went through the SAME exact thing dude, I'm gonna call them tomorrow thanks!!!

I really hope Juicy releases a 23409 Build soon that fixes some of the issues with the current release! In the meantime, I'm trying some other 6.5 ROMs.

Re: [ ROM ] [ KITCHEN ] JUICY 8 - Build 090830H (23037.5.3.0) [UC]

I'm having a problem also,

I cant connect to activiesync via usb or bluetooth. I can select either activesync or disk drive but the computer never registers a connection and nothing ever comes up. I went into settings and turned off the quick file transfer option but still nothing. I can't reflash or anything, so any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys

Preview on the camera is totaly screwed.

it comes up with some wierd screen to display after you take a picture usually.

Mine is showing active sync with the soft keyboard up.
When you turn the camera on, you can briefly see it as well.

You cannot do anything on the screen, its just there. Even after a softreset.
