Scott, Have you happened to get your hands on the latest 6.5 sys files (21208)?

Would love to try them on the new kitchen.

I PM'd him a link to them yesterday. :) Also, for the support site validation link, you have to remove the "www." and replace it with "support." Scott mentioned it a few pages ago and is working to fix it. :)

Hey guys, I got a quick question. I'm about to flash the 21109 build and use the TP2 manila. My question is, is this the 1C version of it that Xbox made? I ask, because then I would just have to install the update. Anyone?

I have a question for everyone... has anyone else seen an issue with their hardware keyboard after going to 21042? I have never had any problems and now when I slide out my kb I get the backlight for a few seconds and it goes dim almost immediately, and I cannot type a single character using it. FYI, I did use the kitchen but used no different OEMs than I have in the past.

I immediately assumed it was hardware related but I never had one single issue prior to the flashing of the 21042 rom with the Rev A kitchen. To me that seems to be too much of a coincidence...

Scott,
Does the Rev A take care of the issue with filling in the contact name when creating a new SMS? I've tried searchnig the thread but I think load is to high at the moment.

I've been using 21042 built from 1.6 Pro kitchen and I have not had this problem. I am reflashing to the newest 21042 using 1.6a kitchen right now. I'll use it over lunch and report back any problems with keyboard I see.

You could try installing Nue's KBLIGHT app and see if that helps.

no issues for me--using 21042 cooked with SSK 1.6A. have you inadvertently changed registry settings for keyboard backlight?
