Re: 4 APR 09 - UPD 23: SSK 1.6 Rev A - 12 OS'es to cook with, 9 Bonus ROM's!!!

Hey I was wondering if anyone uses parlingo for AIM and google chat. It used to work with 1.5 but now it will not connect in 1.6 A. I was reading up on it and it said if it just keeps trying to connect it may be blocked by your ISP. I have verizon could they be blocking this program? Are there anyother aim/google chat programs outhere that people are using on 1.6?

Ohh and scott 1.6 A 21042 its working great with the R4R theme. I tried the HD and pro2 ones but they were killing my battery and were freezing once in a while.

paRLingo or paLRingo?

http://www.palringo.com is the software I use. I searched for Parlingo the other night after someone mentioned it but found nothing. If they really are 2 seperate products, would you mind posting a link for me? Thanks!

Chris

It looks like Parlingo and Palringo are the same thing. http://www.parlingo.com takes you to the same site as palringo. I really like the program and had no problems using it for the past couple of months. I just dont know why it is not connecting now that im on 1.6. I may have to go back to 1.5 to use it. I looked at the IM+ program which does not look as good as parlingo and its $35. Parlingo is freeware. Are u on 1.6 and have it working? If so what rom setup are u using?

To what do we owe this pleasure - Are your fingers worn out from playing with your new toy......have you figured out a way to flash that yet?
Bob

I didn't miss the post Bob, just didn't get to replying. I was beta testing!!!

I do have to admit though, the new toy is awesome. I've been lagging behind on flashing. I've not even tried 1.6 A yet.

scott,

I know you haven't done too much for 6.5 lately, but 21202 apparently is the BOMB... i cannot confirm because i haven't run it myself... But... I'll make a new splash just for 6.5.

Hi guys, I was wondering, what would seem to be the best sys version to cook a ROM with? I know this may be an arbitrary question as a lot of people have all different opinions about them. But from all the post seen here, what seems to be the most stable and fastest sys files to cook with.

Also is there a way to see what all the Manilla choices look like somewhere without having to cook a ROM every time to see what it looks like?

Thanks in advance guys, you're all the best at this stuff!

I looked and could only find the app that says does not have the curtain. they say the curtain does not work with cdma, but i know this is not the case because my last flash of B2B had it...

Sorry I know this is not specific to SSK's ROM, so please forgive the small thread jack.

could you post a link?

Right now there isn't, and it's hard to do because you can add the different cab like S2U2 of S2A, etc that would change the look of a page.

But over on Scott's new website in the forum he's started, I might try to compile some text because you can't add pics or cabs in that forum yet. I don't expect to complete it soon because it will take some time....But I'm going to start. Go over there and sign up because eventually that's where the action will be.

Bob
