This ROM is loaded. Uses HD Manila. All HTC apps included. My typical assortment of apps.


** CE OS 21028 - Light FuzeBerry ROM
8 Meg PP
This ROM is VERY light. Intended for those that want the most RAM possible on a VZW device with loosing all functionality. Uses WIndows Standard Dialer and Volume Control for even more space. No Opera, Only has Large Start Menu and scrolling. Latest Fuzeberry STANDARD Manila with additional TABs.

I cored the Main kitchen again to fix some minor carrier issues. Genric carrier no longer has PRL and PRI icons in control panel. Only sprint built ROM's will have that. Added CE OS 21028 Build 21028 to the selections bringing the kitchen up to 12 CE OSs to cook with! Largest selction on the planet!
Added a few more selctions called "Extra's" for ringtone, theme, and pic selections. Save up to 20 megs on a a ROM for more apps!


1.6 Pro - 31 March 2009 -
Rebuilt the kitchen and upgraded all OEM's to latest at the time. More kitchen selections. Added CE OS 21038, 21042 and WM 6.5 build 21198. Added Genreic Carrier and reworked alot of carrier stuff. Diamond version almost complete.


1.5M Rev C1 - 20 Feb 09
*Added SYS Pack 21015 and SYS Pack 20954, Now 8 CE OS to Choose From! Largest single selection of CE OS's on the planet for the Touch Pro!
*Added the ability for VZ Navigator users to use the ROM with VZ Navigator and Windows Intermediate GPS drivers. VZ Navigator users install the VZ Navigator Drivers cab in the SSK folder to use VZ Navigator! Uninstall the CAB to go back to standard windows drivers. Can be toggled as often as you want. Looking in to automating it even further in next rev ;c)
*Updated SYS packs 20764, 20931 and 21109 to reflect proper selections in Build OS. You can now confidently select IE 6 Beta, Enterpsie Components, etc. They have been tested and verified working as far as being able to select and have them added or not added. Functionality shoudl be fine but please report any bugs.
*Reset page pool back to 6 megs for all ROMS updated this revision.

Beta build used by conflipper but ported to SSK usage by me. Not very fast but very pretty. Titanium Today screen plug in very nice.

The latest and greatest Beta to play with. For some reason pp canot be set.

I will keep Special request Cabs / OEM's Here; Once I get a spot on my page I will keep what I can posted there Or at least links to commonly requested apps and possibly an FAQ section.

1. Attached are the blue phone higlights as seen in the R4R ROM above. I also attached a red version. If you are using the black dialer do not waste your time. These are a differnt shape and will look horrible.
I dont have time to test but they should be fine. If not let me know in the thread.

2. VZ navigator Drivers from SSK 1.5 Rev C series. This can be used on any older version of SSK 1.5 Rev C. Its higly doubtfult that these will work on any other ROM as they are a custom CAB by myself that is designed with the SSK 1.5 Core Kitchen Series only.

3. Kitchen OEM Update. Update is S2U2 1.50. MUST DELETE OLD OEM for FIRST! Uses same DSM and RGU!!!!!!!!!

Rev C corrupted? I have been running with it today and so no real problems. I saw an out of memory error when I tried to get to Google Maps.

How in the world do you get GPS and Google together.


Do I need to flash back to Rev B? How do I know if I have problems related to it?

If you are running then dont worry about it. It didint affect you.

The issue was that if you used builds 20764 and 20931 it would cause the phone not to boot. The same SYS files tested out fine on Rev B Kitchen Core. I just pulled the link to the Rev C kitche core, not the SYS Files. If you are using 20954 or 21109 then you probably never saw any issue at all. those were the builds I last used and they worked great. I think something happned to the kitchen core when it was transfered from my Windows 7 machine to my website. Somewhere there along the way it broke for those two SYS file packs. I can fix it fairly easy this weekend. Just no more building kitchens on a Windows 7 machine. This is actually the second time it happened to me. The first time I caght it before I uploaded. Now I have had good builds on this same machien too so I am lost. I am goign back to old faithful, Windows Vista machine. Its not as nice as my machine with Windows 7 but it will get the job done. I love windows 7 too much to stop using it.

EDIT: But yeah, I wouldnt flash back. that kitchen was my best yet. I just need to reassemble on another machine. I checked out the changes and moved them into the Rev B kitchen and they worked fine ;c)

Wil work on Rev C2 in the AM.

I'm running Rev C kitchen with 20954 and I have no problems with getting Google Maps going. Is the GPS working with any other GPS app, like HTC GPSTool? Do you have a lock on the sats?

Yeah we discoverd that the Rev C Ktichen was somehow corrupted ;c(

Thanks for offering up the info to help us figure it out. Run Rev B Kitchen with Rev C SYS files and all builds are fine again! Gonna rebuild this weekend. Wierd stuff man!

Wow after using each for a day or two I am having a REALLY hard time now deciding between 20931 and 20954. I can finally ditch 21109 as 20954 has all the same positives as 21109.

as I mentioned earlier, 20954 is rediculously fast in some areas, seemed really nice overall, but I was getting random "pauses" when tapping the touch screen a lot. 20931 is also fast, faster in some ways, not as fast in others, but doesnt seem to suffer from the random pausing nearly as much (though it does still happen occasionally).

both builds have been stable (but have locked up on me at least once, usually when using Opera).... I cant decide which to stick with!


SCOTT! which do you prefer?? 931 or 954?

I've had the same debate and can't decide either! Next up would be a battery drain test, but that Bob's area of expertise...

Bob, care to run some battery drainage tests on these builds?

Other than that, I would be curious to see how SPB MS3 performs on these when it's released next month. That and the power drain would do it for me.

In the mean time, I continue my quest to master SASHIMI/Makisu-- S&M, as I fondly refer to them-- and then I will be set. Once this is done, I will be able to load test these builds, as I install 50+ apps after flash: I like lean/clean but functional ROMs, and these builds with the kitchen provide just that.

About the only other area I would like to see refined- if possible- is the "sounds." I know WM and some of the OEM packs use certain sounds by default, but I like to keep my sounds (Alerts, Alarms, Rings) in a structured folder hierarchy under Windows, as I dislike files just dumped into the Win folder. I'm not sure if removing some of the larger WAV files would create a smaller ROM image, but any memory saved for the VZW TGimP helps. The problem I run into is that most of the SYS/OEM sounds are ROM after flash, so I can't move them, and I don't know how to modify the default path locations in the kitchen, or whether I will "break" anything by doing so.

Overall, Scott's ROMs and Kitchen Rock Star, and I enjoy this forum and thread immensely! =D>

You're fine... don't panic!

Read back a few pages, you will see why you are getting this behavior.

You just need to re-flash an earlier ROM.
Go HERE, and try either one of these:
CE OS 20931 - Built SSK 1.5M Rev A
CE OS 20764 - Built SSK 1.5M - R4R Bonus ROM

Its gonna be "Freakin Feb Flash Fest" this weeekend, I promise ;c) I upgraded my ISP's package from Power Home USer to Small Office Home Office user. Gives me static IP now, no throttling and quadruple the upload speed I have now and same download. This is very nice ;c) Very nice. Here are the stats from Fargo to Chicago using www.speakeasy.net/speedtest

Last Result:
Download Speed: 8756 kbps (1094.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 932 kbps (116.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

Im actually getting what I am paying for. Thats odd!

You probably tried to cook too much into the ROM. Take your stuff out and try again. You can always use SDConfig.txt to install cabs on first boot.

anyone else want to chime in on 20931 vs 20954?? Of all the builds I've tried these two seem the fastest/best, but they are definitely different. I want to settle on one once and for all but keep flashing back and forth to see which one just works better overall.

If you want some speed come borrow mine i upgraded this week to 50mb download 10mb upload to comcast extreme. Paying and arm and a leg for it but well worth every penny. Can't wait to play with the new 21015 i mean thing come on give it give it. My phone will not turn on till it getts flashed again it told me soo.

I have this incessant need to chime in on flashfest. I just flashed according to my sig. I could not have done it without phattooth walking me through every step. I'm ready to flash 10 to 15 more times today.
