Oh, I am also uploading a new set of 21198 SYS files because the original set are missing Voice Command and Office. And I think .net 3.5.

I added those back in and made the standard option.xml for it so it now looks liek a normal SSK SYS file set.

I will post again an update to the main thread when the files are up for those interested in getting the corrected ones.

I will also review the java glitch in the 21042 files.

I know you're not stopping, you can't. I remember (long ago, it seems) when you said "I've done it all now....I'm retiring....and going to try something else".

Those aren't your exact words, because that post has long ago been deleted....

BUT YOU'RE STILL HERE....YEAAAA!!!!

Hi and welcome. I think the answer is that in the kitchen there needs to be 5 folders. The kitchen comes with 3 folders. The other 2 are the SYS and ROM files from the OS that you choose. Download an OS and copy those files into the kitchen and everything will work fine.

Bob

Edit: Change the word files to folders....SYS and ROM folders.

Question about flipit:
I tilt the device to landscape mode, but when I go back to portrait mode the TP stays in landscape. Am I missing something? I researched and have found nothing.

Thanks for the new toys to play with.
I built a 21198 rom with TP2 and Manila HD, but couldnt get either manila to run.
No biggie I was more curious with checking 6.5 and it seemed pretty stable and quick. I think that TF3D has more to offer than the new 6.5 home page even though its pretty cool. The new start menu is interesting as it has me searching to find things I am used to seeing. It looks cool but doesnt seem as user friendly for frequently used shortcuts, etc.

I went ahead and cooked a 21038 rom and I am very happy. The reminder repeat box has been fixed-Thanks.
It certainly seems fast.
Where is the RDP? I ended up installing it after.
The start menu and task mgr are back to being VZW red with dark grey background. Just curious if you purposely changed from the all black here. Purely cosmetic.
The only 2 things I see are cooking 1-calc in doesnt set it up as the default calculator like before. Now the new HTC calc is only avail, befor manually adding a shortcut.
I zipped up 4 OEMs that might be helpful in the kitchen.
- 1-Calc Lite - check this out why it wont put itself into the Start Menu Programs folder.
- BTToggle - Shows brief notification(main diff. from BT ON/OFF) of being used - Talk(hold) button.
- DotFred Task Mgr - older ver. of FDC soft which actually makes a regedit shortcut and associates .reg files.
GSFinder - IMO better version of File Explorer which relpaces WM File Explorer icon.

And one question: I remember you talking a while back about the WM6.5 scrolling being better than Touchflo. Do you have any info on that and does it allow flicking between messages, etc.

Edit: I forgot to mention that with the 20138 Rom I built vibrate for any notification wont turn off without my input. Hmmm.

THANKS!!

Dont think anyone saw my post pages back.
