what would happen if you made your pagepool TOO big? Like lets say 12 was good for me, but i wanted to put it at 16. What are the adverse effects you can have from it being set at too large?

I tilt the device to landscape mode, but when I go back to portrait mode the TP stays in landscape. Am I missing something? I researched and have found nothing.

Sorry, I looked and didn't find anything constructive that I could point you to. I searched PPC and XDA

Maybe someone else has the answers.

I removed the SD card, reflashed, and made sure I had all the necessary TP2 fixes and everything has been smooth since then.

You haven't had any issues of the hanging on the boot have you that was another problem that we have ran into. I would love to run 21198 and TP2 on my VZW touchpro but had alot of frustration getting there. Let me know how it runs for you please and what you put into effect and I will try to cook a rom the same way and see if it will work on mine. Congrats on making it work.

I'm not really sure what the effects are....There was a discussion about pagepool size a while back in this thread, but I can't point you to it.

However, I do remember Scott saying that typically 16 was an OK number for a Sprint user.

If you went to boog you woudl offset the amount of memory that is needed for the app to run. I know what that means but Im sutre know one else will understand? Can someone explain better. About to go to bed. Just finished the Diamond version of SSK 1.6 and will start uploading tommorow.

Later!

Ok, Guys, I want to try the 6.5 OS, but I want to keep everything else the way I got it. I'm so used to doing a complete ROM with the Kitchen and moving the SYS and ROM files into the kitchen that I have forgotten other techniques. Is there an easy way to just flash the OS or do I have to do the whole kitchen routine.

Im using 21109 with a 16MB Pagepool. This may be as good as my favorite 21015 , which I loved. This is very fast.
