as far as "Can't stand the heat", I love that post Bob. I'm pretty sure you know I respected you before that post, but it went up a notch.

Thank you (and hit the button)...You better respect me. According to the demographics people have posted, I'm the old man (let's make that senior citizen) of the group....kinda like Luke Skywalker's father in Star Wars....or Yoda....I guess I also qualify as a "dirty old man".....since I'm always flashing. Maybe some day I'll qualify as a Wise Man (and I didn't say wise-@ss).

If anyone else is over 65....Let us know....I feel lonesome and would like some company.

Bob

I will be able to monitor the flash process on the back of my retinas while I am traveling to work in my auto piloted audi A1000T and participating in a video conference to discuss the latest windows mobile 11 update coming from the m$ Mars campus.

All this on my Triple SIM phone implanted right under my ear.

Quick question before I start flashing again. Are there any noticeable differences in Ram usage between the different sys builds? By noticeable, I mean greater than 1 to 2 MB. Thanks.

Good question, but I can't give you a good answer. But the answer is generically Yes but it depends on what you use. If you use TF3D you will have less. The more items that you burn into your ROM will give you less. The only way to know for sure is to try burning IDENTICAL ROMS and keeping track of what the differences are. I don't know if anyone has tried that yet.

3) I have a couple apps installed like Update PRL and Update Profile. Are these Sprint apps? Are they supposed to be there? If I run one by accident is it going to screw something else up?

21042 Base OS Bug report:

1) I confirm these apps are installed: the icons appear in Settings/System tab: they don't function when tapped.

2) Phone locked up charging on PC/USB connection: LED cycle in continuous loop after disco, and can't do anything but soft reset. I haven't had this happen on any other builds before this.

More to come if/when I find them.

Best - DA

#1 - They are Sprint Only apps. Nothing happens if you have Verizon.
#2. - I don't think it's a specific 21042 issue. I've seen this happen with different OS's.

They are all going to be about the same.
