I notice that you show a 21042 TP2 ROM and a basic 21042. Do I just de-select TP2 to make it a basic ROM? I don't see more than one download. Please advise.

I am also glad that everything went well for you last week and that you were spared from the potential devestation that you were looking at. Keep up the good work and take your time. Trust me, we will wait.

Hi Scott,

Just wanted to say thanks for the updated kitchen and glad you made it safely thru the ordeal last week.

I just cooked a 21042 ROM and must say my 1st impression is that this is the smoothest build I have seen so far. I have been on 21018 for over a month now, and I really liked that build, but couldn't resist trying 21042 after seeing reviews from folks that praise it.

As you know, I run lean/clean ROMS and don't really have much feedback on anything other than core OS... no TF3D loaded, I use SPB Mobile Shell (still waiting to play w/v3.0, which is past due)

I'll be testing this build over the next few days to see how memory, etc behaves, but so far, this build rocks and so does the new kitchen.

FPOS is on holiday, so have to wait for him to tweek the XIP if possible, but I don't see how it gets better than this... though I did say that about 21018 too;)

Kudos my friend - DA

Thanks guys!

BTW: I am uploading a 21198 ROM now for those whou would like to try 6.5 but not nescasarilly the kitchen.

I also updated the sig blocks so if you want to change the logo there is a link on the RMO page to do so. Thank you for showing your support with the logo's!!!

There is? I only see one. Is there more than one site out there?

Well Scott, See what happens when you create GOOD, STABLE ROMS. There are no issues. As you probably noticed, it was the same during your "forced" sabatical. Your users had no problems. Even now, Few questions....most of the Noob ones except for TP2 and I probably got people running scared on that issue because of my "mental bowel movement" earlier today. To have an active thread, you have to push the envelope a little and put out stuff like TP2. The really stable stuff is mundane. It doesn't make you want to go to the office and scream "Look at my phone". So, keep putting out stuff that's "nearly" ready for Prime Time and you'll always have an audience looking for the latest and greatest.

Well, enough diaherra from me. Keep pushing out those kitchens, and as you know by now, that's my preference because I CAN CHOOSE what goes into my ROM.

Your Loyal Subject
Bob

Will 21198 work with TP2? YOU said "IE looks cool too"....Did you mean Internet Explorer or ie as in an example.

Maybe found a bug on a 21042 kitchen build today, after a standard day of charging intermitently the keys on the face of the phone stayed illuminated after hitting power. Furthermore when I went to charge when this happened to try and get them to swap to lightshow mode only the center touch pad did the LED dance, the four other buttons stayed lit up... after a softreset all was right again in the world.

I'm not sure this is solely a 21042 bug. I've had similar happenings in other OS's. Scott and I disagree on whether it's hardware or software related. Not even sure if it happens in someone else's ROMS.
