PPCGeeks - 8 APR 09 - UPD 25: Mods please lock this thread!

I tried using some of the mighty mike skins, are those rom specific? I was able to change the slider and the clock color, but when I tried to change the menu highlight or icon highlight color it stayed blue.

I had the same issue when I tried his CAB on my ROM's. Not sure what the deal is. Didint work for me either.

Im not offended by anyone's off to help with the kitchen.

Unfortunately with the fine control that I need over all the files that would not be a great idea at this time.

Now if somone were to screen shot the apps or something like that and complie them all into a list with hyperlinks and uploaded it to thread I would post it to the site.

As far as waking up on the wrong side of the bed... Um... no. I was simply pointing out why I dont like to include Manila beta's and ports. They are a nightmare unless supported properly and I cannot do that. If you guys want to support it thats fine with me. I really dont mind. Just makes the thread grow bigger is all.

If someone can give me a good consolidated link I will add it to the main post for issues with TP2 Manila. I will also link back to the authors site at that time as well.

Hi Scott,

Just wanted to say thanks for the updated kitchen and glad you made it safely thru the ordeal last week.

I just cooked a 21042 ROM and must say my 1st impression is that this is the smoothest build I have seen so far. I have been on 21018 for over a month now, and I really liked that build, but couldn't resist trying 21042 after seeing reviews from folks that praise it.

As you know, I run lean/clean ROMS and don't really have much feedback on anything other than core OS... no TF3D loaded, I use SPB Mobile Shell (still waiting to play w/v3.0, which is past due)

I'll be testing this build over the next few days to see how memory, etc behaves, but so far, this build rocks and so does the new kitchen.

FPOS is on holiday, so have to wait for him to tweek the XIP if possible, but I don't see how it gets better than this... though I did say that about 21018 too;)

I just want to say that I appreciate all the work you did on this latest release Scott, as I have for all the other releases. I have been using your roms for a few months now and I have to say that yours are the most stable for me and my needs.

I am also glad that everything went well for you last week and that you were spared from the potential devestation that you were looking at. Keep up the good work and take your time. Trust me, we will wait.
