So weird today my company actually changed our provider and now i will be on sprint. I hate when they change things but thats life i guess i will have to get something from them. Scott any ideas whats good there . Im scared. Stop laughing crazy boy.

Thanks for the new toys to play with.
I built a 21198 rom with TP2 and Manila HD, but couldnt get either manila to run.
No biggie I was more curious with checking 6.5 and it seemed pretty stable and quick. I think that TF3D has more to offer than the new 6.5 home page even though its pretty cool. The new start menu is interesting as it has me searching to find things I am used to seeing. It looks cool but doesnt seem as user friendly for frequently used shortcuts, etc.

I went ahead and cooked a 21038 rom and I am very happy. The reminder repeat box has been fixed-Thanks.
It certainly seems fast.
Where is the RDP? I ended up installing it after.
The start menu and task mgr are back to being VZW red with dark grey background. Just curious if you purposely changed from the all black here. Purely cosmetic.
The only 2 things I see are cooking 1-calc in doesnt set it up as the default calculator like before. Now the new HTC calc is only avail, befor manually adding a shortcut.
I zipped up 4 OEMs that might be helpful in the kitchen.
- 1-Calc Lite - check this out why it wont put itself into the Start Menu Programs folder.
- BTToggle - Shows brief notification(main diff. from BT ON/OFF) of being used - Talk(hold) button.
- DotFred Task Mgr - older ver. of FDC soft which actually makes a regedit shortcut and associates .reg files.
GSFinder - IMO better version of File Explorer which relpaces WM File Explorer icon.

And one question: I remember you talking a while back about the WM6.5 scrolling being better than Touchflo. Do you have any info on that and does it allow flicking between messages, etc.

Edit: I forgot to mention that with the 20138 Rom I built vibrate for any notification wont turn off without my input. Hmmm.

Hey Scott, thanks for all your work! I running 21109 on my VZW TP with a PP of 9 and all is good. Any of the new builds, in particular 21042, noticablly different? Thanks.

A couple of questions for my knowledgable friends here (maybe save me from digging thru the Xbox thread.

1) The fixes posted earlier on the page - If I do a hard reset, will I lose them and have to re-apply them.
2) After applying the fixes, I can only connect to ActiveSync as a "GUEST". Have rebooted both the TP and the PC and it didn't help. Any ideas?
3) After applying the fixes, ActiveSync wouldn't load my contacts from the PC.
4) When I go either to Contacts or Calendar now, the screen comes up but then TF3D re-initializes itself and reloads. I cannot look at the calendar. Are these known bugs?

A word to other users: Do use the "Disable World Clock" cab. With fixes (except that one) applied, I cannot get the TP to default to Eastern Daylight Time. It defaults to totally different time zones and also does not give Daylight Savings Time. After applying the cab, the time seems to work correctly.

Hey guys


Sorry if this has been asked, I tried to search in reference to it, but was unable to find anything.

I am running the new 1.6 CE OS 21042 TP2 Style ROM, it looks and runs great, I noticed that when you drop down the little corner down arrow, that there is a start.exe running, I do realise this is the touch flo 3d, when you x it off the touch flo stops running.

What im asking is, can this be hiden, I did not see this with some of the other roms, its not that big a deal, just wondering if this can be hiden,
or is this a part of the 21042 os.

well i don't really need an advanced how to per say. my problem is that i am used to flashing but not really familiar with kitchens. i have only ever used ppckitchen and that seemed extremely simple where as here i want to be able to understand the tools and everything so i could make the best rom for me.

1) yes you will lose them
2) and 3) others have been having issues with the rhodium manila and active sync, there is a thread in this forum about it. i dont use active sync for anything really but i would suggest checking there.
4) that means you have an older beta version of the manila

i attached the most recent version. now this is still beta some there are still bugs here and there.
