So, my notifications used to work before. For example when I got a text message it would pop up. Now after I receive a message I need to go to the Text Messages tab to be able to read it. Is there a fix for it?

Hey Cochoz,
Did you check the box in the Sounds and Notifications settings to display message on screen? If you have and it unchecks itself, then that's a known bug with several custom roms. There's been a thread going for several months about this in the Touch Pro general forum.

that's known to happen sometimes on some custom roms. I haven't heard anyone give a real explanation for it. Just use the stylus and try to be exact. I've never heard of anyone having to do it more then 10 times. I would just reflash it if i were you, or try a hard reset.

you have to push hard. not enough to break the screen obviously but give it a firm push and hold it til the crosshair moves

push hard? i barely, very lighty, tap mine and the cross hairs move. Is it that way everytime you've flashed a rom?

yeah i've reflashed MR5 4 times and only once has it worked when I lightly tap. its done it with stock and silence roms but IDK why this one. maybe its just the phone.

I'm not sure what it's called, but MM had it on his previous ROM. It was where when you get a pop-up on the bottom of the screen for texts, or battery low warning, emails, etc. - instead of the Windows screen, it was replaced with a larger pop-up with a black/gray heading...

Anyone have a .cab for that?
