i had a sprint mms cab that worked for me on WM 6.1, but it's not working on this one...

my normal texting still works, but on this one, i can attach pictures and stuff but they don't send. does anyone know how to configure MMS?

Hmmm.... I thought upgrading to mr6 would allow ACtool to work. Didn't work with sprint shipped rom and still doesn't. Any fix for this??

Re: [July 18th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Let me say this first off; MightyROM has been an excellent ROM for the TP and I have the greatest respect and admiration for you guys who have put so much hard work into it.

Ok, now that I've said that, I want to make an observation. I just flashed to the July 18 release from the factory Sprint ROM that had a few small performance/power tweaks and a newer radio. MightyROM 6 is slower and noticeably less smooth than a basically stock Sprint ROM.

I understand that this is essentially a ground-up rebuild and there are still things to be worked out. I just wanted to point this out.

Also, what is with the absolutely insane RWIN? I understand that the TCP/IP stack steps down much faster than it steps up, but for the smaller bandwidth and shorter sessions, the RWIN you guys have as the default is most likely hurting more than it is helping throughput. And yes, I know what I'm talking about, I am a network/security specialist. It's my job to make the flow of data the most efficient it can be.

So, keep up your most excellent work and party on, dudes.

Yep I am verizon user with XV6850.. This worked!!! I used PPST v2.0 linked in that thread, and I am now able to lock again. To test my theory, I flashed back to MR6 7-7-09, the one at the beginning of the month, and I did NOT have to use that tool, GPS simply worked. When I tried MR6 07-16-09 and 07-18-09, I *DO* have to use that GPS fix again.. so something changed.

Sorry Mike about my tone in my first email, it was sheer frustration speaking.. but would be nice to know if VZW users need this GPS fix in future releases or not. I would hate for others to get into the same situation I was in.. once you have GPS you tend to rely on it a lot.

Thats true. Maybe you can give them a hand. You already did though, but just saying. 3 or 4 heads work better than one. I just did the same thing you did and I did noticed that the performance is slower than stock and my phone doesn't have a week old. I dont have any other problems, just performance.
