I'm wondering if there is a turtorial for us "non developers" to unlock, flash & install MR6. I'm dying to use it. I have sucessfully tweaked my pro, but never the rom. Reading the threads on just unlocking it has me stuck. If I overlooked a already posted thread, just link me & i'll try to figure it out. THX!!!

unlocking is easy. there is a sticky at the top of either the cdma, or touch pro section, i cant remember which, but its the hard spl unlock thread. simply follow instructions (very easy) to unlock the phone. then download the rom of your choice, and follow the instructions. basically any flashing on the touch pro consists of making sure the phone is connected to the pc correctly (see activesync in phone manual), and executing a prepackaged program, reading the warnings, and clicking next a bunch of times. theres really nothin to it. regardless, as always, any damage you cause is not on the developers or the users here, its on you, so be careful.

Here is a cab for a soft reset app, not the same one in the Screen shot though...

This one installs the shortcut in the programs menu, as well as replacing the long power key press. This version also can actually turn the device off!

Installed the mighty one and SYM is back! Thanks man! What exactly is this file and why is it so big (8 mb)? Does it overwrite the stock input?
