This is what I have done so far:

Titanium Weather Updated 4/14/09: Version 3a released.

Original Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...51#post3304751 (Released by showaco)

*Note: Showaco's version is for VGA. QVGA users can get Titanium Weather from mnemonique here.

Installation and Setup Instructions:
  • Disable Titanium (Start>Settings>Today>Items>uncheck Windows Default).
  • Install TitaniumWeather_v3a.cab.
  • Soft reset.
  • Re-enable Titanium.
  • You will now have a panel titled "Titanium Weather". Scroll down to it and tap the right soft key, which is "Menu".
  • Select your options in "Forecast Options/Setup", and "Panel Display Options".
  • Go back to the main menu and select "Run Full Update and Exit".
Then I put the new titanium ms thing into the Titanium folder in Program Files on my device. I have the weather actually working now, but all the icons are circles with RED X's in them...? Help please...?
Try the same setup, but using 4.1 of Titanium Weather.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

This works great on my phone so far. Thanks mightymike. Only problem I've experienced was the keyboard lag, which I've read another user had the same problem. I'm sticking to this rom though.

Anyone know how to change the location of where the Today screen pulls it's pictures from? I really hate having the pictures of the avatars being the only thing that shows and I know if I left the camera as DCIM then the pictures I take will show up, but I'd rather have everything stored under "\Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures\".

With those tweaks while phone is unlocked I get no flash of screen and slide to answer show instanly. While MR6 is locked if flashes lock screen quickly then opens slide to answer.
Thanks for helping me get rid of that stupid bubble (hopefully there are no ill effects of that reg edit)

As someone else mentioned, you can set the lock screen to be the windows 6.5 screen in the settings->lock->display tab

I haven't tried with the 6.1 type lock (I really like the look/effects of the 6.5 lock), but there is still MAJOR lag for me (10+ seconds) from when the phone first detects a call (it will turn the screen on and start flashing) before it starts vibrating. Then once it starts vibrating I still can't use the slide to answer as it appears some OTHER slide to answer window attempts to pop up, and then gets hidden by the lock, and then finally the HTC slide to answer will appear. I've also noticed that once I ignore the call (maybe answer as well, but I've been calling myself so haven't bothered to check) the other slide to answer screen appears as well.

Perhaps this is all an issue of wm6.5 fighting with the HTC dialer? Is there any way to disable the dialer to test this, other than installing Advanced config v3.3? Also, is it easy to re-enable the HTC dialer (perhaps also using Advanced config v3.3)? Finally, is the WM6.5 dialer the same "crappy" dialer from 6.1? I don't need anything fancy, but finger friendly, slide to answer/ignore, and the ability to just start typing a contact's name are the features I'd like (as well as being able to quickly pick up the phone, of course). I guess one last question: does this enable the ability to quickly answer the phone if it is locked?

Advanced config, go to dialer, hit disable.

I have VZW so i never use the dialer as I can save ram. Works great for me as I love WM default.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

I used S2A on MR5, and when using the 6.5 lockscreen, I had that too. I disabled it, and bam! no lag on calls.

I honestly think the 6.5 phone answers faster too.

And now I have more RAM lol.....freaking Verizon...

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Hey guys, I'm on the sprint network using MR6 and I"m getting terrible service even with an Air Rave in my home!? I've noticed that MR6 has a few additional options as far as Network Service and I was wondering if anyone could explain the settings and maybe make a suggestion to improve better signal.

Start-Phone-Menu-Options-Services-Network Service- Get Settings...

I then have the following options:
Home only
Automatic A
Automatic B
Standard
Roaming off

I opened Advanced Config and looked at the options and didn't see anything for dialer. Where is it?
