Click on start, File Explorer.

Then navigate to your device. Then go to WINDOWS/STARTMENU/PROGRAMS

Scroll down and look for the icon/name of the Icon you want to remove and remove them. However just remember that if you do not have a link/icon somewhere else you will not be able to launch that app. So be careful.

It's looking to be a 21501 Sys wide problem at the moment.

I can now safely say it is not a bug in my rom.

Here's a list of things I've changed...

- ringtone package
- lockstream drm
- audiopara files/settings
- audio drivers
- ringtone files
- ringtone mappings
- oemdrivers rgu
- notification rgu tweaks
- etc.

it seems like anything from 21xxx series onwards eventually gets the corruption, and usually when you use custom ringtones. I'm guessing it could be MS trying to prohibit unlicensed content, but that is just a guess.

I'm going to try switching to DiscretixDRM later, but that has its own issues...

It looks like most the newer builds of WinMo 6.5 have the ringtone issue....

Hard not to love WinMo 6.5 though

I don't have any custom ringtones and the corruption problem keeps coming back...soft reset fixes for a while just like everyone else reports.

Is there an easy way to change the softkeys? FOr instance, on the clock view, which is my main view, I would like to have sms instead of set. Is this possible? I checked into cHOME editor but it looks like I need to know some string that I have no clue about.

I'm just happy its not something I'm doing or installing. I hard reset again thisafternoon for another fresh start. So far so good.
