[3-9-09] KK's Loaded ROM v1.8 Sprint and Others [OS 5.2.21015 Build 21015] [UC]

Just flashed 1.7, love it minus a few issues...

1.) Weather Master still giving SQL Errors.
2.) Action Screen Shortcut in Start|Programs gives unsigned error.
3.) I use Garmin Mobile XT instead of Google Maps, I'm attaching a cab to modify the action screen to use \Storage Card\Garmin\Apps\WM\QuePPC.exe In case anyone else uses it.
4.) I removed the finger menu from Windows|Startup since I couldn't find it in Remove Programs, is that an ok way to do so?
5. What is the best way to back up the phone before flashing? PIM Backup seems to get my text messages out of order, and SPB Backup makes my phone sluggish after a restore.

this rom is working pretty well for me, but i would like to turn off the word suggestion at the bottom and cannot figure out where to disable it. any idea?

You are trying to turn off the T9 feature. To do this:

Press the FN button then the Space bar. Put in ABC mode.

I figured I'd try it, as the max I ever receive from my PC according to battery monitor is 432mA. With the driver installed, its just under an amp.

#1 and #2 I cannot duplicate on my device.
#5, my personal preference is Sprite Backup & PowerSMS's backup.

Me too. Found the files in the prog files\ageye\galarm and it runs fine just not making it to the programs list.

How do you figure? With S2u2 installed on my phone I get about 36 hours of battery life. Without it installed and active I get about 24 hours. It actually improves my battery life with its power management features active. I have never had it slow my phone down either. So again, how does it go about draining your battery and slowing your phone down? (Kinda exaggerated those figures, read my other post #1187)

Granted, when I first started using S2U2 about 2 years ago it was not working all that great (mem leaks, etc.), but the most recent versions work flawlessly for me and I don't think I could live without it. I have not come across any other screen lock that work quite as well.

Do you have any screen locks that you would recommend? Other than the built in screen lock?
