If I cook any ROM using builds 230xx, 2350x, or 28002 -- I get the new WM 6.5 lock screen, but no notifications. Only the top generic "lock" slider shows up -- but never any of the email, voicemail, or SMS notification sliders.

If anyone knows how to get this working in Calk's kitchen I'd appreciate it very much. Alternatively, if anyone knows any ROM (other than Calk's) in which that lockscreen works with notifications, that would help too. Maybe it's only in a particular build or something.

Just installed that on my 28002 ROM built with Calk's kitchen, and I still get just the generic lock slider and no notifications.

Can you tell me which build or ROM you're using on which the lock screen notifications do work?

I rolled back to 21876 a while ago so it's not 6.5.1 but the notifications all work..

Ah, that must be it -- every build I've tried on so far has been 6.5.x, and I haven't been able to get lockscreen notifications working in any of them, whether I'm cooking them myself or trying other chef's pre-build 6.5.x ROMs.

The lockscreen notifications must either be not included or just broken in the 6.5.x series builds. Sucks, 'cause I really like the new 6.5.x UI changes, but I really wanted those lockscreen notification sliders too. :P

I've seen posts where people just say to copy this folder from an older version and rename the folder. This works, but then I usually get different version numbers when I do a system/about - like CE OS 23506/ (Build 28002). Is the OEMXipkernel the CE OS, or the build and does it really matter other than a visual inconsistency? Is this folder generally the same for most 6.5.x builds and how to get the version/build numbers matched up if I just copy from an older build folder?

I deleted the first 28003 folder I made in the ROM/TP subdir, then just copied the 23506 folder and renamed it 28002.

are you using the kitchen? because if you are, just remove lockscreen app from your selections, worked for me! if your build that u are running had that selection, chances are that is the reason why that cab you tried did not work. the reason why you get the old lock screen was spoken of but dont remember why the reason was.

I'm not getting the old lockscreen -- I'm getting the new WM 6.5 lockscreen (with the slider) -- but it doesn't have notifications, only the one generic "lock" slider at the top.

Did you look at that screenshot I posted a link to? (http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/...ications_2.jpg) Does your lock screen have the extra sliders when you have new emails/texts/voicemails/etc, or only the one slider with the "lock" symbol on it?

Did you try including Calk's "Custom Loskscreen" in the EXT-TouchPro section?
It puts the slider on the bottom and I've gotten voicemail & texts to work with that.
