I disabled Windows Live and IM, a few of the bluetooth protocols and even turned DShow and several other things into modules. I'm kicking myself for not saving the build file when I started from scratch.
I don't know what gives. I'm having trouble recreating this ROM and it's wicked fast with less than 80MB in use at boot! It's driving me nuts lol.

Not everything works as a module, try converting them back to files.

anyone have an issue where galarm (free version) freezes after the alarm goes off and u hit the x to close the program? i think it might have something to do with me using the cache folder on my storage card and not clearing it each time i flash a new rom... anyone have any suggestions?

Not had that issue. I too use the cache on the card over and over and ive yet to have an issue with the alarm not sounding... I no this isn't help, but wanted to let you know that i don't think the storage card is it.

Yeah, I'm hacking at it trying to find the combo of modules I used.
The weird thing is that a new kitchen with nothing changed can't even build. What WinXP components could be corrupted that win't allow platformrebuilder to run?
I may just want to dump this ROM to try and find how I did it.

I been using 23414 since last sat when it was up and it's been wonderful. As long as I dont use the phone to make any calls or push email, the charge lasts 4 days as opposed to 8 hours.

Seriously, this was a near perfect week for me, no resets at all, everything worked, I'm almost afraid to do anything. I can't wait till some of the 2.5 stuff gets worked out because it's so neat to see weather on the home page.

Better would be to remove the duped files from footprints package and some (prob not all) regedits footprints would make for those services.

Do a compare or the rgu's (in this case app.reg as it's VK) and remove any similar reg entries from the footprints.

I personally didn't find footprints to be very useful...
I use GPSToday instead.

I agree I haven't had any problems whatsoever. I'ts by far one of the most stable roms I've tried.
