Re: [ 10-13 ][ v4 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Is there anywhere that we can find a few default config files? It would be nice to have a few pre-configured files to help those of us new to building our own ROMs.

Anyone trying to use - I had to use 7zip to extract.

Re: [ 10-13 ][ v4 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

last night i built a rom with the kitchen based on the build 23064...

now, the thing is that it runs really slow on my phone, i dont think this is the way this rom is supposed to run, maybe im doing something wrong? maybe apps that i am selecting that are not compatible or something?

the way i flashed the rom was: i first built the rom, flashed it, after running customizations and letting it restart, i used the clear storage option to reflash, just to correct the bugs. when it was running the customizations it froze for about 15 mins and decided to soft reset, after the soft reset, since it did not run customizations correctly, i flashed from my computer once again, and then left it like that! i know that this kitchen has the fixed not needing to flash to stock, but is that after i flash it or even if i didnt before?

the next time you decide to flash a new rom try this...

hard reset directly to bootloader / flash rom / hard reset / let customizations run / soft reset

i use this method and it has never failed me

when you hit the volume up for the second time during a hard reset, quickly grab the power and volume down and it will put you in bootloader directly from a hard reset
