Just for clarification:
For some reason having the Enhanced editor as your default Message Editor Interface in your UserCP Options causes the problem. On a PC or your device click on UserCP > Edit Options. Scroll all the way to the bottom and change your Message Editor Interface to Standard.

Am I the only one who still can't get nikoan's EzInput 2.1 to work in the 9-19 kitchen (meaning, my HW keyboard doesn't work AT ALL...)

It's the same in the 9-16 kitchen also. What's the deal? Is it as simple as the keyboard map file? < - I just found four different versions on my own hard drive:
1) "eT9.Herman.wwe.kmap.txt" - 9-16 kitchen, dated 9-2-09
2) "eT9.Raphael.wwe.kmap.txt" - 9-16 kitchen (activated in app.reg) dated 8-13-2009
3) "eT9.Raphael.wwe.kmap.txt" - 9-19 kitchen dated 11-21-2008
4) "eT9.Rhodium.wwe.kmap.txt" - from Nikoan's latest EXT package dated 8-10-2009

I've diff'ed them all, and they're all different. Which one has the *best* *working* HW keyboard mappings for CDMA TP (Sprint)? I don't care if T9 works or not, I usually turn it off anyway.

1 - What is UserCP and where do I find that program/function on my phone? What exactly does it fix?

2 - What is Sprint Extras in the program menu?

1. It's the User CP on the PPC Geeks website: http://www.ppcgeeks.com/forums/usercp.php

UserCP > Edit Options. Scroll all the way to the bottom and change your Message Editor Interface to Standard.

Sorry if this was rude, I'm still coming off the meds I had to take to deal with the 23412 problems that the build 23412 had.

To be fair, maybe there has been several fixes to the problems of the latest 9-16 version. Personally, I wouldn't be so quick to recommend it. Good luck.

funny reply. i'm actually on 23412 as well. i tried everything to make 053 work, and i like the stability, but 412 is what i've got running right now.

Same here, I had too many issues with 053.
