I don't like this Opera build either. you can't type in PPCGeeks with it.

I have an older build that works fine with PPCGeeks - I have the CAB and the OEM for the old kitchen - haven't figured out how to convert it to the VK OEM format.

Yeah you can type in Opera on PPC Geeks. Change your default editor in your options in UserCP. Set it to Standard and all will be well.

I have ran into a issue with the bottom left Start menu button not working. It loads Showcase Suite if pressed and held of course but I cannot get the menu to open up.

I have it enabled for typical 6.5 start menu and not manila. Am I missing something?

Tap the start button. Then tap again. It should load up the menu. That is a known bug in this version of ShowcaseSuite.

Bubble Breaker addin:
If you have an older kitchen with the 23017 sys folder you can navigate to Sys/23017/Shared/Common and copy the Entertainment folder to whatever sys you are using. Also you need to navigate Sys/23017/Shared/0409 and copy Entertainment_Language_0409 and paste to the sys folder you are using and last navigate to Sys/23017/Shared/Common and copy Entertainment_DPI_192 and paste to your sys folder hope this helps

I tried both and 23412 seemed much faster and more graphically complete, and so far seems to be the most solid i have run. I did have 1 sudden soft reset, but nothing else so far.
