Re: [ 9-28 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I am having two different problems that I am wondering if anyone can help with... I am building my own roms with the kitchen (23053) and I can't get Jmz Lockscreen to work, it just crashes with an error "Jmz Lockscreen.exe UnauthorizedAccessException". Plus I cannot seem to get pandora radio to work, something about Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library, Program:\Windows\Pandora.exe
File:C:\Program Files\Microsoft visual Studio 8\VC\ce\include\vector Line:756 Expression: vector subscript out of range (Press Retry to debug the application)
Any help anyone can offer would be great. Thanks

I assume I am adding something I shouldn't, or leaving something out?

I cooked a few ROMs with and without showcase... the ROMs with showcase makes the SMS lock up, makes the outlook application freeze up, and pulling showcase up/closing it out makes the phone randomly lock up. The ROMs without showcase doesn't have those issues. There's a thread over at XDA where the creator acknowledges these issues and stated that this software is beta, and he will not correct these issues until 6.5 is actually released because the builds keep changing and he doesn't feel like updating the software for each build.

Here's the link to the XDA thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=4030896

Here's what the creator said about showcase issues:
ShowcaseSuite.exe was very-very experimental app, I share it because I want to share my idea, If it works for you, I am glad, and I don't even ask you to give me some milk . And don't forget that WM6.5.x even only on Test Build State :P

I will fix it after WM6.5.x consistent with it UI&Core, so I don't need to build the ShowcaseSuite.exe every WM6.5.x Build(s) released.

Okay, even if you take it out of the windows folder it still freezes so that doesnt make since.

What are these?

I know its Send and End Softkeys. But how are they there now? I've used Build 23017 before and theses weren't part of the bottom taskbar. Is this a program? Any info is appreciated.

Is there a registry to remove it?

Also is this only on builds after 23016?

No, it's not part of the MS build - some guy on XDA created it. There's a thread on XDA about this software.

To disable go into the registry and change the value to 0. After changing, do a soft reset:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\SendEn d]
"SoftkeyEnabled"=dword:00000000

Here's the post on XDA for it:
