I cooked a few ROMs with and without showcase... the ROMs with showcase makes the SMS lock up, makes the outlook application freeze up, and pulling showcase up/closing it out makes the phone randomly lock up. Here's what the creator said about showcase issues:
ShowcaseSuite.exe was very-very experimental app, I share it because I want to share my idea, If it works for you, I am glad, and I don't even ask you to give me some milk . And don't forget that WM6.5.x even only on Test Build State :P

I will fix it after WM6.5.x consistent with it UI&Core, so I don't need to build the ShowcaseSuite.exe every WM6.5.x Build(s) released.
