Did you look at that screenshot I posted a link to? ( http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/...ications_2.jpg) Does your lock screen have the extra sliders when you have new emails/texts/voicemails/etc, or only the one slider with the "lock" symbol on it?

Did you try including Calk's "Custom Loskscreen" in the EXT-TouchPro section?
It puts the slider on the bottom and I've gotten voicemail & texts to work with that.
