i ran into a similar problem migrating the old style kitchen and VK. since the htc native kernel all i do it rename the folder to whatever build i am trying out.

now when i get some time i will attempt to tackle manila 2.5

Quick question for you experts out there as I'm still learning. As these new sys files come out I don't see an OEMXipkernel to go into the touchpro folder in Calks VK.

I've seen posts where people just say to copy this folder from an older version and rename the folder. This works, but then I usually get different version numbers when I do a system/about - like CE OS 23506/ (Build 28002). Is the OEMXipkernel the CE OS, or the build and does it really matter other than a visual inconsistency? Is this folder generally the same for most 6.5.x builds and how to get the version/build numbers matched up if I just copy from an older build folder?

As we move closer to manila 2.5 how well will this run on the VZW version of the Touch Pro. I.e will the rom with or without Sense u.i be too big to be functional

Does anyone know any way to get the complete new Windows Mobile 6.5 style lock screen working with notification sliders as shown in this screenshot?

If I cook any ROM using builds 230xx, 2350x, or 28002 -- I get the new WM 6.5 lock screen, but no notifications. Only the top generic "lock" slider shows up -- but never any of the email, voicemail, or SMS notification sliders.

If anyone knows how to get this working in Calk's kitchen I'd appreciate it very much. Alternatively, if anyone knows any ROM (other than Calk's) in which that lockscreen works with notifications, that would help too. Maybe it's only in a particular build or something.
