Anyone else seeing memory leaks in 28002? The last two mornings I woke up to the out of memory/close some apps warning screen. Last night I left my tp charging and it had about 35MB free memory. When I woke up it had 3MB free. There were no programs running and this has happened with titanium and manila.

I guess it could be some software conflict with this build, but I'm using the same apps I have forever.

Hmm...I never had a probably with My Location and rarely have the issue with the wallpapers. I'm hoping someone will port rotastrains version with landscape because the Music and Photos & Videos Tabs for 2.5 and AMAZING!!!

yeah that landscape is really nice. i just tried yesterday w/ the 2.5 version on xda that has all the required packages, wvga core manila files, vga manila files and and tweaks all put together in numbered order. its pretty much copy, paste, build. really nice ext setup. but that was the version i experienced the problems i mentioned. there r so many different ports, fixes, radio recommendations, etc. i dont know... its just me i guess... but seems kinda all over the place at the moment. once there is a definitive setup. i will prob hold off.

Yeah, I am, but I have 480 Modules upon building and I think I just have to recmod a few dll's to fix it.
Plus, the only way I've been able to build a ROM is 23081(XIP) with 28002(SYS). Idk

Guys - Has anyone cooked up a 28002 ROM and NOT experienced the BSOD (Blank Screen of Doom) lockup? Just curious as it seemed to be Kernel related or possibly a module issue in Da_G's thread over at XDA.

28002 is working just fine for me (cooked in calkulin's vk 4.2) no bsod, lock ups or incompatibilies. one thing i will say is that i started from a clean kitchen and that is about it. i did add a few ext's of my own and also removed some stuff from the sys folder.

all in all i am happy with 28002 as i get closer to a final rom for my tp

I ran 28002 (files from Welrope) for a few days without any bsod or lockups, no real problems there. The only issue I had was the horrible memory leak overnight (see post above). I reflashed to 23506 yesterday and no leak at all overnight.

Not sure even where to look to correct that one.

I haven't had the lockup issue either. I do have the mem leak, but it does plateau...at least for me. After a full day it will climb from 55% to 68% or so, but never higher. There are around 449 modules in my personal build, so i do expect to see a significant usage of memory as the modules take their ram space at boot and as they grow. I have seen a lot of talk about the random lockups with several different 28002 roms, so not to sure what ties these all together. But i have never had the ringer issue either...

I'm actually liking Calkulin's pre-packaged 23506 ROM v4.2 more than just about any other - it's FAST but has one key feature missing.... it kinda sucks at being a phone!

I can't answer incoming calls! I smash the software and hardware answer buttons and the phone completely ignore them and keeps ringing. I try in landscape mode - same result.

I thought it was a problem with the Tachici dialer so I run the cab to switch it back to Windows Mobile's default dialer and I still have the same problem.

Any suggestions?
