Thanks. I'll look at that when I get home. If that's not the problem I may just have to delete the kitchen and start over or try the 4.1 kitchen. I don't think I've modified much.

Then again, I'm pretty happy with my custom 23088 Calk Kitchen Rom. We'll see.

Edit: Ok, there was no nbh file in the kitchen so I just tried 28002 again and I get the same error at the same time. What's odd is that I didn't even close the vk and changed to 23088 AND 23506 and they both built just fine - no errors. If there was a problem with my kitchen files wouldn't every build be messed up?

I also dl and extracted the files 2x last night just to make sure they weren't corrupt.

Edit2: Just saw on the erice TP2 thread the same issue popping up. It is a vzw carrier issue - selected generic and the rom builds just fine.

The problem I had was I could change the wallpaper once, and then the next time it would kind of grey the screen and then nothing. The way I got around it was to open Album from the start menu, and I think I even went ahead and closed it. But anyway, right after that I would try to change the WP and it worked! I have done this several times, so try it and see if that works for you. BTW, it worked when switching from Weather Wallpaper to Animated and vice-versa.

Yes that worked... Thank you so much.. Lol i was trying before to change the wallpaper through the album thinking maybe it would work too but it didn't.. it would be a nice thing for htc to add that though.

Slide to answer really has been working poorly for me. Can someone explain how I can get an alternative ringing behavior using calk's 21876?

It looks like the kitchen defaulted to slide to answer and looking over the options when I made the rom, I didn't see anything that I could disable to get rid of it.

anyone know where to get the manila 2.1 sense version? Not manila 2.1 that we have, not manila 2.5.... it's our manila 2.1 w/ the weather on the home tab...

Th port is being done by kimi_sae_ireba over at XDA but it hasn't been released yet. He still has a couple cosmetic bugs he wants to fix. I can tell you its pretty amazing!!! Very fast!!! and well worth the wait.

ohhhh, that makes sense. Now I know why I searched for 2 days to find nothing lol. Eagerly awaiting...

I tried the manila 2.5 setup, pretty cool, but why switch to something not finished and buggy? 2.1 sense it is! lol

The newest Sense 2.5.1921 happens to almost match Sense 2.1 in speed and stability. The only thing is SMS/MMS which is actually coming along pretty nicely. If kimi_sae_ireba has a little bit of time this weekend, he might work on a 2.5 home tab with everything shifted up and a retractable slider for better access to the shortcuts. Should be pretty nice. As far as the future, it looks like its all going towards 2.5 since Yozgatg is doing a port and dropping 2.1 and kimi_sae_ireba also talked about doing a complete 2.5 port as well.

i couldnt get my location to work in 2.5 and messageing client is a PITA. also, lack of landscape is a pain too. then there is the thing w/ the wallpaper where u cant change it twice. I don't know, all these little things make it a pain to me.
