Thanks, Ive customized the kitchen for manila 2.5 so i have something off i guess..back to the kitchen!

Hey guys

I created a 6.1 rom from the new 4.2 kitchen, and am having a bit of a problem with the key board, the setup is left almost the same, just some color changes,

When I select lets say ad a stock, the keyboard should pop up when you tap on the entry spot, but it doesn't, it also doesn't show up at the bottom unless you click in that general area, then the keyboard will only come up if you double click, and is a booger to then get it to collapse again, the little triangle wont pop up a selection either, any clues, Ive cooked it with ezinput, anf finger keyboard same thing!

Ah it looks like you're right: I just reflashed to Calk's 23506 release ROM and it's using EZInput 2.0, even though the kitchen defaults to EzInput 2.1. I guess that answers my question about whether leaving all the default packages selected creates a ROM identical to Calk's pre-built. Apparently not.

What I'd really like to do is start with the kitchen set exactly the way Calk does his release ROM so I know everything works, and then start tweaking from there. Otherwise I feel like I'm reinventing the wheel.

Hey Calk, any chance you could post a kitchen settings save file of your 23506 release ROM so we can see how you build 'em? :P

Have you had any issues with opening an email. I have 2.5 running great except for that. I noticed OMJ talking about it, and seems to have found a reg key to fix it. Just wondered if it is a package im missing....Im going to compare what you are putting in yours with what i have in mine.

To be honest I haven't setup email because I've only ran it on my testing Touch Pro and it has a bad esn and no wifi at work where I do 99% of my building.

I just flashed using your files, and had similar results from my own work. It seems like it's either missing dependencies, or something. Music tab isn't working, HTC Messaging isn''t working, Updates and Events in All People crashes Manila. I think that's from Social Networking? The weather tab is working on yours, where mine didn't. I had Weather Demo working, where it crashes on yours. And I had the animated BG too.

What am I missing?? LOL I am free this afternoon, so I'll keep plugging away.
