Hey guys, i think i may finally have it. After dumping the leo files my self and porting the wvga manila and using the mods from xda, i have a really light and fast manila 2.5 It is beta of course and it is LIGHT. I have added a lot of modifications so most of the apps are in folders. It won't be for everyone, because i strip mine down. Total size is @ 150meg. The sprint mms settings work after adding in the server settings. I really dont have a lot of time to support end users as i have a full time job and a family. I have put about 15 hours into what i have. Now to the point. IF you want to try this rom, pm me and ill shoot you a link to my ftp server at home for you to test. I know there will be issues but it is something to play with...

Calk, im not trying to hijack your thread, we just been working heard to integrate this into your kitchen. If you don't want this post here let me know and ill delete it.

welrope r u having same ringer problems as NRGs rom ?

Yowza! Just flashed to v4.2 23506 from v4.1 23071 and dang...snappy is the word. Think 23071 was problematic too. Was having ocassional lockups where a call would come in and the phone wouldn't respond to any keys, requiring soft-reset. We'll see what this one does.

I found out what is messing up the softkeys on the regular slide to unlock dialer that is now stock from sprint. It is tcputil1.dll and/or cprog1.exe I am working on all sorts of combinations to fix this but have been unsucessfull. I do know that tcputil1.dll calls cprog1.exe and everything works without it but there is a scroll bar and the first phonebook entry does not have a white background it is grey oh well back to work maybe someone smarter like calkulin can figure this out.

Can you post the Sprint MMS settings you're using that work to send MMS? Just to be clear, you are talking about sending mms through the new htc messaging client, right? Also say what version of HTCMessaging_Client if you don't mind? Thanks

not that ive noticed. NRGZ's roms is what keeps me coming back to calk, he is a great chef but.. I can set a mp3 as my ringtone and it rings!! I set it the normal way through start/settings/s&n/ and it hasn't failed to ring yet.

Where's the 23088 4.2 rom? Anybody?

23502 rom messes up IE6 so my medical program won't work while 23071 worked fine (but locked up some).

Download the kitchen and build one. I was running 23088 before 23506 was out and it is fast!! 23506 is a lot more finger friendly IMO..

OK tcputil1.dll is required if you are using cprog1.exe otherwise the contacts will overlap when scrolling.

So... This means that all we need is a working cprog.exe from a rom that it is working in.

you should look into initflashfiles.txt and app.dat files. They are crucial when using a kitchen. But, for now, replace the app.dat in the LockScreen Application Launcher with the one in this zip file...

compare the two in your favorite text editor and look at the files in the package. you will see what was changed and why.

could someone please explain where I will find the LockScreen Application Launcher folder. I can't seem to locate where I have to change this file at.
