changing to classic blue, soft resetting, changing back to the theme i wanted, soft resetting, hopping on one leg, and threatening to throw my phone got it to work, but like others, the problem started when i'd change to a new theme. i also had the nuekb app cooked in.

Thats how did it the first time and I cooked up a great ROM.
Then I tried using some of the tools dirctly and had to start my kitchen from scratch because of the constants platformrebuilder errors.
Thanks for reminding me of the correct way. Guess its time to start practicing a personal work-in-progress changelog lol.

btw, I'm Still curious about "file to module"
-It worked ridiculously well for NeoS2007_Driverpack_3 along with the D3D_CDMA.
-Worried that I might be using too many Modules. 450 avg? Is there a tool that will compute the current module size (in MB) or is it moreso trial and error?

Ok, looks like I THINK I've fixed the corruption issue caused when flashing but I need about 5 testers that will flash different SYS back to back and make sure it doesn't corrupt anymore.

If this works, THAT MEANS NO MORE FLASHING BACK TO STOCK!

So far for me, I've flash 23064 twice, 21867 three times & 21055 once and no corruption anymore

Also on a side note, I've modified a couple of DLLs and increased the overall performance, so this might be the best kitchen to date if everything works like it should


PM me if you have time right now to test this as the kitchen is ready for release pending testing to verify everything works like I want it to

Hi all,

I am having an issue that the "my location" weather will not update/work.

All that happens is "My Location" comes up with a little communication symbol in front of it and continuously says updating

I would really love a fix for this

There is a way you can use Footprints and My Location weather at the same time. If you prefer to cook in and use Footprints, then after flashing your ROM, download the Manila 2.1 EXT from xda, extract the 3 folders for My Location weather, make a new folder on your storage card and call it whatever you wish (mines is Weather Location Fix lol), inside the 3 folders you will see a "FILES" folder, just take all the files from that particular folder inside the 3 main folders (HTC Framework, Google Location, HTCGeoSrvc) and paste them all together inside the new folder you made for it on your storage card. Also for the HTC Framework folder, inside the FILES folder, the first 4 .dll files are folders, so just open them up one by one and just take the .dll file out of it. After you have all the files together, use Total Commander or Resco and copy all the files to \Windows folder on your device and soft reset.
