No problems here. XT9 wants to stay enabled. Just click abc and type some numbers and that seems to fix it. Able to send and can go into and out of messaging no problem.

When you type a name for messaging, does a name come up so you can auto-select? Sounds like I need to flash stock and back again. I have been flashing a lot lately.

Also, have you tried FN + Keyboard to disable the XT9? That might permanently solve your issue.

can anyone confirm that the shift key works with the hardware keyboard now? i haven't flashed yet

I just notice in text messaging my soft "send" button is blank (no-text) on it.

Great to see a new Kitchen update, downloading now. You rock Calk!!!!!!

Side Note:
Anyone have any idea how to add a Programs Tab to the 2.1 R1.5 Manila in this kitchen? I'd truly appreciate it. Also how do you change the background when cooking, I tried editing the tsk and it went psychotic. I thought they used to point to the st_water.jpgs but I can't seem to find them anywhere.
