Also dont forget about the fact that it also selects the older messages, cause you to have to scroll down and select "newer" to view the most recent messages.

Re: (2-25-2009) MERDIN'S Windows Mobile Pro 3.6 [UC]
Thanks for putting this up. My phone is running much better now. Only problem I'm having so far is with the Internet and GPS. I've called Sprint and tried different things but still can't seem to get it to work. From one of the posts I read it seems as if I need to install the Sprint Carrier Profile, but the link isn't working anymore. Any ideas where to get this cab or any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

what problem with GPS are you having? i noticed that after i installed the 3.6 version, my GPS kept crashing and my phone would soft-reset sometimes when i tried GPS programs. i did a hard reset and nothing happened. then i flashed another rom with the same results. then i flashed back to stock and still got the same results. so.... i called Sprint tech support and they had me do a reset on the phone. by that i mean entering ##786# on the phone pad, then at the bottom of the screen on the lower right corner there is "menu". once "menu" is selected, "reset" is one of the selections there. once that's selected, it asked me for my unlock code (which the Sprint guy gave me). what this does is totally resets everything in the phone and reinitializes evertying with the Sprint network (i'm sure some of these folks on this site can give a much much much better explanation than i just did). anyway. once i reset the phone, GPS started working perfectly again. now. that being said. i have NO idea if in fact Merdin's lastest rom messed my GPS up or if it's just a fluke. i do know i won't flask back to it just in case. i'll try the next one. |

I did the reset but and it went back to the MERDIN'S Windows Mobile Pro 3.6.
Now that I think about it, it was doing this with even with another ROM. I want to say it started doing this after I unlocked the phone using Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe Last edited by matchpoints; 02-27-2009 at 02:59 PM. |

what i would do, is do what i did. flash back to stock. then reset using the master reset (or whatever it's called). i remember messing up my old HTC Touch with a rom a year or so back. i had to go back to stock and reset to get everything back the way it was. then i reflashed to a different rom and all was well. i'm not saying flashing back to stock and resetting will fix your problem, but that would be the next thing i would do. |

Blah....trying the dumped version as I exceeded my amount on rapidshare to get the signed version.
Ok I tried it and also did the system reset. I had to call sprint and also change my MDN MSID numbers. Internet still isn't working. I wonder if I broke something after unlocking the phone or if its not working because it's unlocked? Any ideas? I can't live without my e-mails Last edited by matchpoints; 02-27-2009 at 04:49 PM. |

TV out doesn't seem to work for me on this rom. When I connect it, nothing really happens, however, when phone is opened manila remains in potrait mode, and vice versa. So it's like it recognizes it, but nothing shows up on the tv
