eRice - does your 23016 XIP include cachefilt.dll from the MSXIPKernel?

I just tested gps in 23016 and it works like a charm now. GPSTest locked in under a minute first time it was started. QuickGPS is able to download updates now.

I do not believe so but I will double-check

UPDATE: No it does not. Just dumped OS.nb.payload and extracted xip.bin and dumped that. Does not show in any folder therin.

Any idea on the Music Playback skipping? Like I said it doesn't do it too often, like every minute of a song it will skip a couple times and then play normal.

I personally haven't experienced it, as I don't use my phone much for music, but when I do, I haven't heard it. Might be the AudioManager OEM I included with the kitchen. Could swap it out with a different version. I don't have one to attach though..

Could be Dynamic Processing causing your skipping, mine will skip on backlight off with processor setting below 500mhz

Re: [8-3-09] eRice New Style TP Kitchen [Build 23016.5.3.0]

If playing back music from your SD card, check a) if you have caching enabled on the FATFS filesystem on the SD card and b) if you have SD power management enabled. Anecdotal evidence (i.e. not confirmed or tested) suggests (i.e. doesn't prove) that caching will reduce accesses to the SD card and improve the efficiency of those accesses and b) power management being enabled may contribute. I think the latter is very unlikely the cause, but is something you could easily play with to see.

You can try the CDMA_OEM_MISC.CAB I've attached to this post. It is a fix for audio lag on GSM devices released by HTC and ported to CDMA by thx1200 at XDA. I've used it and it seems to work. You can read more about it in the thread at XDA. You are also supposed to install sdkcerts first.

E-Rice.. I see you've taken down 23016. When do you think you might put it back up?
by the way, thanks for your work.
