Thanks erice....

It worked and I have successfully flashed a ROM....So far it seems very quick...Gotta fire up my Sashimi since this one isn't UC compliant...

I made mine UC compliant by adding the attached OEM..
(Note: You might need to remove pre-existing duplicate SDAutoRun.exe/config.txt files.)

Hey eRice, why not make buildos automatically close when 'Done' to save time? I figure it would save everybody a click or two..

I don't know of a script or something that can be added to the .bat file that will automatically close BuildOS.

Oh. That would be sweet if there was.

some of this may already have been said

On the home screen when you go to Getting Started. None of the links within work such as Add/Remove. If I go to TouchFlo 3d View, the internet does not work and View All Settings takes you to setting up Settings > connections > Connections.

In the Windows Default view, the pictures will not let me default to an album on the SD card and the Album covers from music do not show from the SD card only from the phone. The album covers do show in Windows Media player.

The QuickGPS does not work nor can I download gps maps for Tomtom.
QuickGPS says "The file 'QuickGPS' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."

Last, is there a change the order of icons and remove apps that will not be used such as pocket IRC?

You sure are heaving a lot of problem I didn't have any of them works perfect for me but now tom tom is for phone's not in the usa to get maps and try http://powerdeck.sprint.cam/?device=972 that will get you to the touch pro site

Re: [7-26-09] eRice New Style TP Kitchen [Build 23009.5.3.0]

just a few observations of the new build pack (23009)

the name of the microsd card has gone from Storage Card to Internal Storage (in the os, not the card itself)

quick gps giving error message to enable location settings eventhough the location setting is set to enable

all in all i like how the new kitchen is setup and how easy it is to update and rebuild

update - i found the reg entry to change the storage card name back, and even found the .rgu (in the kitchen) that contains an entry regarding the microsd card, the strange thing is the entry identifies the card as Storage Card. there must be another file that show the card as Internal storage. oh well time to get a searching.

The next iteration of the Kitchen Pack will have the updated registry entry, but if you want to go ahead and do it yourself, you can include it in your Registry Tweaks OEM .rgu and it will fix the Storage Card.

Code:
; ***** Storage Card *****
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\SDMemory]
"Folder"="Storage Card"
Also, in Quick GPS, unless you're using a different version than the one I included, I'm not having the error you're describing. I don't even show a location setting in that program. As for GPS in general, I have a lock right now in Google Maps and TomTom.

i figured out the change for the storage card, and the .rgu in the sys/shell folder shows the proper reg entry (which must mean there is another overwriting the one in the sys/shell .rgu, right?)

as for quick gps... the version i am using worked with the 23008 build pack with no issues it is just with the 23009 build pack that i am showing a that issue.

for now i am back with the 23008 build pack, but will play with 23009 as time allows

btw... thanx for the quick response
