Actually. I'm tempted to install my older version of opera.

I'm having issues with the one in the rom and the newest.
Cannot click on links.
I starts thread for it.

Hello Jakdillard,
Thanks for all your hard work.
Was wondering if you had a chance to look at this newer version of the camera for the Raphael. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=429621
Also, the LiveSearch that is currently being used in your ROM is not the latest.

again not trying to be rude but if spent time chasing after current apps I wouldn't have time to make sure the rom works ..... live search can be updated when the app starts and as far as the camera I don't trust it unless I seen it ran

Jacks doing a great job. =)
I'm lovin the rom so far. Can't wait for next version.

Though, now I'm wondering why your sig says fenton, mi....

Perhaps I p***** it, but this thread is incredibly long, Did you try 48 page pool yet?

All this rom excitement is not getting my drafting work done at all. heh.

You can search the thread by using the link at the top for thread tools, as this has been discussed to death. JD is using a 12mb page pool because that is stable and he trusts it. If you are interested in changing the page pool, go here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=43824

I haven't tried that version of iContacts, but the Burts version 6.4.5 works on mine fine....http://burt.vndv.com/index.php?ind=d...y_view&iden=56

Manila, Oz, and Sprint TV. 3 popular items everyone used to want to get in their rom, now we get them stock and we remove them. I just find that ironic. I personally use Manila and Oz (sometimes) myself, so this rom isn't a fit for me.

Manila was replaced with manila GSm which is better.

Talyn 11-10-2008 06:27 PM

use sprint 19965 sys build .... no solution for 20755 / 20924 sys builds

Re: [11/7] JD's ROM

in total commander you can click ctl(in the app not on the keyboard) then you can select multiple files still.

I am going to upgrade to that but I don't want a new ROM to come out in 2 days and upgrade to that and reinstall everything.

ruskiyab 11-11-2008 12:14 AM

Re: [11/7] JD's ROM

Both 5 and 5.1 are finalized designs with minimal difference, pluse 5.1 comes with sprite backup so you can backup everything on your phone down to your personal settings and text messages and get them on to your new rom without having to reinstall

How do I access sprite backup? I don't see it in the programs list.

Re: [11/7] JD's ROM

When receiving SMS I can't get the new SMS count to 0 unless I use the d-pad to move over the threaded messages. Sprint Stock would reset count for that SMS thread to zero on a reply. Any ideas?

Re: [11/7] JD's ROM

I'm just curious as I noticed that OZ Instant Messenger was removed for this ROM and I know it can be easily added back, but I am curious to know which IM APP most of you guys are choosing to use with this ROM on the Sprint Touch Pro?

I know there are threads in the software section specifically on which IM App is best, but just want to get a idea what people running this ROM are adding for IM.

Also does anyone know if OZ is the only App that "pushes" the instant messages to your phone instead of constantly checking for new messages?

Thanks!

Talyn 11-11-2008 03:05 PM

Re: [11/7] JD's ROM

The last messenger I used was Fring, but it was okay.
I'd rather have trillian write a good version of their client for the PPC

on Call History tab after 4-th entry it starts selecting all entries. is it just my TP or some of you guys got same problems

Talyn 11-11-2008 03:35 PM

Re: [11/7] JD's ROM

No problems here with that. I just wish the damn selection screen at the bottom wasn't there and it was in menu like before. It's so annoying like the OSK
