Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

I recently had to trade in my Touch Pro for a new one, and I received a model with the newest update - the one with visual voicemail, unlocked gps, etc. I've been trying to unlock the phone and have been unsuccessful. Should it be working? Or is there a different way to unlock the new ROM?

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

I have a HTC Mogul, and am not sure if the same programs, unlockers etc apply to that as well (and if the new ROM would work on that equally well)?

Could somebody please help?
Thanks
Indi

there have been no reports of this, so you're probably just having normal problems unlocking. tell me what's happeing in detail and i'll tell you how to fix it.

1. no, unlocking only allows your phone to be flashed. it doesn't change any settings
2. if you are referring to the network settings in EPST, then no. if you're reffering to the connection settings, yes, but 99% of the custom roms have the correct network connection settings to work on sprint. if it doesn't have proper network settings, then you just install the sprint carrier cab.

everything in this thread is just for the touch pro. go here for unlocking and flashing your mogul.

Kind of the same problem here. Only difference is I have had the Verizon Pro for a bit and had previously unlocked it and loaded a custom rom on it. So I loaded on the new stock rom and was going to go from there to Juicy 8 but no matter what I try to do it will not load any of the custom roms. I tried the relocker and it seemed to work but the Tri Color screen still shows as unlocked security like it never got relocked. It will just sit at loading if I try and flash from SD Card as well. It's like the new rom is keeping anything custom from happening. If I just boot it the OS comes up no problem.

I should point out that after you have verifed a connection established w/ activesync, and *after* running SPLManual.exe on the phone, you may need to give the PC time to recognize a new device, allow those drivers to load, then run the unlocker on your PC. I don't know if my situation was coincidence or not, when I ran SSPLManual.exe on the phone, device manager on the PC installed a new device. Activesync was already running. I think its similar when running wmodem or similar, the host PC drivers needed are different. BTW, the phone is a fairly new Alltell TP, the SPL version was 40.000.
holy crap dude thank you so u so much for posting this i have been trying to figure out the same error 202 forever now and it just processed at %100. i was running the new verizon firmware 40.00 as well

you need to run the unlocker, not the relocker. You can't flash a custom rom onto a locked phone. That's why it sits at 0%.
The tricolor screen always says Security Unlocked. You have to look at the spl version to see if it's unlocked (see post #1)
