Ive try every rom and keep getting error [262] I need help

I have tried loading roms via sd card with the RAPHIMG.nbh method; nothing loads. When I enter bootloader it goes directly to the tricolor screen with the above info and thats it. Trying to run ruu from my laptop always results in an error 262, unless it's the stock verizon rom. All attempts to use cmonex's hardspl solution have failed. All attempts to load any other rom fail. I can easily access bootloader...that's about it. Any ideas? I've been working on this for a week now, I've tried asking everyone. It was running an ssk rom when I first got it so I know it's not impossible. I'd really like to figure this out so I can dump my crappy Samsung Instinct (the Jitterbug of touchscreen phones). This is the unlocker thread for the Touch Pro, not the Diamond. You are in the wrong section of this forum.

read the first post... after you do that you find the HSPL package for you carrier, d/l, install on device...

if you do that properly you will see this on the bootloader screen...

one bit of advice.... research before you flash your phone (a little reading goes a long way)


btw... the screen will show security unlocked at the top whether you are or arent

everytime i try to unlock my rom it gives me error 202

Ok, I recieved a replacement phone today. While trying to unlock my phone for a second time I get an error in the RUU saying "This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please check your Update Utility. Any thoughts?

if the lock version is 0.40 then you need to run SSPLManual_Raphael

this also is on the first post explaining what to do if you can not enter SSPL...

NOTE 2: anyone having problems with the device entering SSPL automatically, please copy SSPLManual.exe from the SSPLManual.zip attachment to the device and run it. then once the screen is in SSPL, run RUU manually. i.e. you run the RUU on the PC, if it isn't obvious.
make sure to get SSPL-Manual specifically for Verizon phones from the verizon package.
