So I flashed back to stock Alltel MR1 from Energy rom (june something or other) so that I could lock the phone, update the PRL, unlock the phone, update radio, then flash to the new version of energy.
WELL, little problem. The relocker refuses to relock my phone this time around. This is strange because I did this no longer than a month ago without a hitch. I've reflashed the stock rom a few times, and tried the unlocker again just to see if that would allow me to relock, but to no avail.

I'm out of ideas here. I've even tried to lock via the SD card, but it just says "loading" and doesn't make progress. Please, if anyone has an idea of what to do next, help me. I'm begging here. I can load energy again, but without that PRL update, the phone is going to be useless.

put it in bootloader mode and tell us what it says there

you're already locked. that's why the relocker wont run.

what problem are you havin exactly with prl update?

Well with the ancient PRL info that comes with the stock software, I am considered roaming. Unfortunately my "home area" is about 3 hours from me. Having said that, I've updated my PRL info up here while in roaming after flashing a rom multiple times. It seems like the last time I had an issue with teh update, I had neglected to lock the phone. Immediately after locking it, updating the PRL worked perfectly, that's why I assumed that I must be unlocked right now.

I have such problems:


Method 1: If I try to use RUU via ActiveSync, as soon as the red/green/blue recovery screen appears, the device disconnects and reconnects from my system, and the RUU eventually times out trying to reach the device with error 260 ("CONNECTION"). Meanwhile, the device sits at a "Loading..." screen forever. Out of six or so attempts using this method, the progress bar on the device came up as 0% one time, but never moved.

Method 2: If I launch the RGB screen manually (power+vol+reset), connect the USB, and then run the RUU, then I get error 264 ("CONNECTION").

Method 3: If I copy RUU_Signed.nbh to the root of my storage card and rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh, then disconnect from my PC and launch the restore screen (RGB), it sits at a "Loading..." screen for forever. I let it sit there for about 10 minutes and it never did anything. Do I need to wait longer?


I can restart and get back into my existing installation regardless -- so nothing's being updated. Not sure what I can do to get this on my device.
