Well, I was planning on sending my phone in to sprint to have some warranty work done, so I flashed the carrier rom and relocked the phone. Later, I decided it wasn't necessary to send my phone in, so I tried to unlock it again (and here's where things got screwy).

First and foremost, is it possible to unlock a phone after it's been relocked at all? If not, then I might as well send my phone in.

Also, I've done the steps where you disable the advanced connection active-sync thing in the settings. I've removed my memory card. Nothing has helped: I keep getting Error 262. The screen says it's locked (0.37.0000 or something like that) and I'm running vista, just fyi.

If anyone can help me, I'd be GREATLY appreciative.
yes, you can unlock the phone after it's been relocked. See Note#2 in first post and try that.

i wouldn't take the chance of them noticing it and refusing to honor the warranty. If the screen is really that bad, then you can try using MyMobiler here

Wow, I feel dumb for not noticing that before. Alas, I downloaded it for my computer and it still did this same Error 262. Is there any other information I could give you that might be of some use?

5) it should go to tricolour screen now and say 0.25.C-SSPL or for Verizon devices it should say 0.35-C-SSPL.
6) SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done.
7) to confirm you got it installed, go into bootloader mode (tricolour screen!) and verify the screen shows 0.35.CMONEX or 0.37.CMONEX (or 0.25.CMONEX MFG).

the step in red does not work for my HTC Touch Pro . I am using verizon btw. please help this is very annoying. my screen broke so i got a replacement so now i just have the old windows stock b.s.

Relocker and everything worked beautifully with the newer MR Sprint official ROM. Thankfully I forgot and was reminded about the bootloader mode, so I was able to do it from the PC even with my garbled screen. A hard reset to clear my data is all I'll need, and Sprint can take it back none the wiser.

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Have not seen this posted then again maybe I didn't read but.....

Anyone here received and new TP or a refurb lately?
Just got mine and WTH?

NEW SPL 40 that I could not unlock with SPL 37 unlocker.
Sooooo... I ran the Stock shipped rom to this device that uses SPL 35.
Now I can unlock it with SPL 37 unlocker and flash NRG greatness once again.

Only concern now is Sprint can tell by the SPL on the device that it has been relocked if it is taken back.
We need a NEW unlocker/relocker for SPL 40 I think.

Edit: It still isn't unlocking. ???

Finally got it to unlock after flashing back and forth between SprintTouchProMR2.01.651.6 and Hermann_C_SPRINT_WWE_1.03.651.3_RS1.03.15F_SPCS_1. 53_PRL6063_Ship.
So weird.
