Small bug I've forgotten about. When you first start the camera, exit the application with the back arrow above the end key. When you restart the camera it will work normally. I'll put it back on my list. I think it's related to Barcormara...

Most of the "data on" issues are with taskbar not actual data flowing. check batti gague to verify though. run internet and check the gague, turn of internet and if the "data on" is still active, check batti gague, you'll see that battery usage has returned to a "normal" state-----verify you have all data grabbing programs closed (stocks, weather, not pulling e-mail) if all that's done and your still showing "data on" - it a taskbar bug.

noticed a few issues with the 21876g build newest ones...

my screen neer goes fully off (black) stay greyish...

can't add pictures from (OPEN ALBUM) to existing contacts...

dont know why lumos is a generic .exe icon... and doesn't run...

and are my hard buttons supposed to work? they do not:\ only touch screeen and soft keys work.


other than that its very smooth
panoramic sliding background is TOO NICE... love that ish...
clock is cool too.

I installed Pocketshield (I own it), MS MyPhone, and FaceBook. You should consider making MyPhone part of your ROMs. Also TouchPal was a trial copy so I never used it. Does anybody use the small keyboard also? It seems to switch on at weird times. Including sipchange is great btw.

Very nice ROM. Hope you support and add to it in the near future.

I too LOVE this rom and I too purchased Pocketshield. any chance once all the bugs are fixed, that we could get a custom adjustment for us pocketshield users? I have a couple customization requests but first

Here is my bug report:
**Contacts: doesn't work from home page or from dialer. Even has a long lag from the quick menu before opening.
**Manila: when I click on QuickMenu, touchflow shifts up slightly. same thing when I return to manila from the phone screen. nothing major just a little odd.
**bluetooth filesharing: doesn't stay checked. It is on the ftp tab of the bluetooth setup. it lets you exchange files via bluetooth to a central location on your computer. basically it unchecks "Enable Bluetooth Explorer" every time you exit the program...I dont' know why. I do know a regedit that fixes it so it isn't a huge deal but it would be nice if it weren't the case.

All pretty minor stuff in my opinion but the contacts thing would be most important to fix.,

Now that I've given my feedback on the current status let's move on to the next item: I've cooked my own rom b4 with other's kitchens but it always has one or two idiosycrosies that I lack the technical skills to fix. So....I'm wondering what sort of pleading would be required to get you to incorporate a small bit of my flavor into your already DOPE rom.

Here are the items in order of importance 2 me:
1) WKTask as the task manager (gives you a taskbar at the top of the screen showing an icon for every open program. one step task switching!!whoo hoo).
2) FdcSoft as another task manager in the system tools folder (this program lets you import .reg files directly on the phone.
3) Lastly some tweeks for people who might have pocketsheild:
---1) no locking mechanism pre-build into rom (meaning no S2U on phone calls or any other locking mechanism of any kind.
---2) Change so that when I hit start and then click on the lock at the bottom of the screen it either does nothing or it uses whatever locking application the user desires
---3) Disable auto hiding of keypad on phone call.

number 3.3 is the most elusive request for me so far. After doing hours of searching to find an answer, I'm still no further ahead. so I don't if you know how to do this but if you did, I would be uber impressed. and probably worship you for years to come. You might ask why I'd want to do such a thing. first off I can use pocketshield to protect my buttons if I want it but often I don't want it.

I make a lot of phone calls to phone systems where I have to press numbers over and over, and I hate having to unlock with PShield, then slide to unlock, then push the button for the number, and then press the digits. sometimes it takes so long to get through that the phone system boots me out. with voicemail and several other things i do this would greatly reduce my day to day annoyance with my phone setup. It would be nice to still manually get the "call status" menu but I just don't want it to ever automatically hide the keys and go to the "call status" screen. Is there any hope in my future?

Well that's it for my novel. If you haven't tried wkTask before then you definitely should check it out. if you need the cab or something I could locate and upload, just let me know. Or, if you even wanted to include NO task manager with it then that would be fine too. I could always manually install WK Task. the only problem is that I can't disable the current manager for it to work properly on the system. Thanks in advance for any portion of my request that you may accommodate me on.

Mmm, I don't mean to disagree with you but in my case I know it is not a taskbar bug. I am not saying the rom has a widespread bug or even that it is a bug. Rather I am saying that for some unknown reason it is happening to me. All the data programs are turned off as far as I can tell. I disabled all the stocks and even removed that tab.
