For the startup sound you have to edit the value here:
HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation\StartupWav

Edit it with the path to whatever .wav file you want to use. For example:
\Windows\ReallyCoolSound.wav (obviously you would have to have the ReallyCoolSound.wav file in your Windows directory )

If you are not comfortable with reg edits then search for Advanced Config or Diamond/TouchPro Tweaks, I think both programs allow you to edit the startup sound.

As far as the lock sound goes-I've never heard of a sound file associated with the default WinMo screen lock. Could be wrong on that but a quick Google run didnt turn up anything either. You may need a locking program like S2U2 for that.
S2U2
IMO it's not worth the memory hit to run a program like that just for a sound file but to each his/her own. The program is awesome, used it for months, but the current Co0kie Home Mod lock screen is fine for me.
Good luck. Hope that helps.

Did you resolve this? I'm seeing the same thing...

Also, is there a way to 'stop' the default media player from opening when you plug in headphones? Example: I'm already streaming radio with TCPMP, then plugin my headphones and another app opens (I think ac-s2 or something?).

Another question for the veterans: If I'm streaming with Hava Mobile Player, after 15s or so I notice the video & sound will freeze... if I touch the screen (just tap, not unlock, etc), it resumes... any ideas?

So to get the clock and the background I would have to add those seperatly? Is it possible to put a theme in a cab so everything is just added and changed when you run it? It would be nice to just change themes by running a cab file. Is that even possible? If so, what are the drawbacks to doing it that way?

Yes the clock and the background would have to be added separately. PM jdm, he's good peeps, he'll let you know where he got those mods from.

As far as cabbing up a full theme-yes, it's *possible*. The issues vary. Sometimes some elements need to be installed before others. Some elements may need to be written to different aspects of the OS.
Not everyone likes the same things so you and I may want the background but I dont want the clock...

If you gathered all the elements of the theme together then YOU may be able to write a cab that would install them all upon your next flash of a new ROM.

IMO it's simpler to have a few different cabs set to run upon initial set-up with a program like Sashimi.

Hope that helps.
