[ROM] 01/01/10-1.1 | fresh rom | a new year release!

I haven't touch the firmware update and I just notice that Build number shows "fresh rom 0.1 Core REBOOT REQUIRED"

any idea?

I don't know much about flashrec but one of the requirement is that you need ROOT for this ROM.

mine has said the same thing but I didnt think much of it since everything is so quick and stable.

That error would be caused by you not following the steps to install the update... or not following them properly. Steps 1 and 2 are designed to fix those errors.

As for it showing "fresh rom 0.1 Core REBOOT REQUIRED", steps 1 and 2 also fix that. Heh.

I'm working on pushing out a fix that integrates the Sprint MR in to it so if you don't feel like messing with all this then just hang on and it's coming soon. Hopefully at least... I'm not having much luck with it so far. lol

I'm getting reports of people in xda also saying that remount isn't working for them. I'm not sure why. But rather than trying to figure that out I'm just working on an update. heh

I didnt need to root my phone to use this rom with the flashrec method. I've been using this rom for a couple days now and had no problems. the problem i'm having is trying to use the rom with the updated firmware.

I didnt think i needed to follow those steps because I didnt follow them initally when i first flashed this rom. I wasn't comfortable with typing in commands and using adb. The flashrec method was really simple and didnt require all of that. I guess I'll have to wait for you to push out that fix. Thanks for your help.

My phone IS rooted and I followed the steps but got the same error. idk why?

Does it matter that i left the file named sprint-mr- whatever instead of renaming it update?
