hi all, it may be isolated incident so I would like to find out if it's true.

My weather in the front page won't show anything for several hours at a time even when I pressed update now and shows in the weather page...

It works then doesn't work then work again time to time.. anyone else with this issue?

Honestly I've had that issue since day 1 with the hero. Ha. I stopped using HTC's weather.

LoL i see, never had noticed that issue before perhaps it's sprint's issue then haha.

One other thing, my speed test was around 900k - 1500k and it's shot to hell around 150k now... anything on speed decrease? I know it's probably sprint's fault but wanted to verify

I just installed the fresh rom, and I'm trying to install the patch, but now my astro file explorer won't work. just force closes when i open it. so, the patch is sitting there, but I can't get to it, cant go into market to get another file explorer because I cant type...any ideas?

Ur hard reset will have been for nothing if u restore. It will all b the same as when u backed up.

but i finally figured out what nandroid backup and nandroid restore actually do. i was tryin to use the same tools and method i used to root the phone, to backup and restore .7... via flashrec, which was why i was getting errors... im thinking i should delete all the files that i used to root my hero... i dont need them anymore, right? im already rooted... And i should use nandroid backup/ recovery to save my settings/roms.... Should i delete the nandroid folder on my sd card before i do a backup? or does the new backup replace the old nandroid folder on my sd card... thanks!
